Chris was looking through the books. He knew this area were meant to be forbidden, but no-one had seen him yet, so he had nothing to worry about.

"And what are you doing here?" a soft voice came from on top of the bookcase. a girl sat there, her hair in her eyes. she grinned and then shuddered, staring down at the boy who look so far away.

"I'm a librarian. I'm just checking everything is in the right place."
Wow, that actually sounded pretty believable.

the girl snickered, "I don't think you are a librarian,anyways i've been stuck up here all morning and all the librarians have gone past me with out seeing me. sad isn't it?" she said laughing and staring at the Chris again.

"i was here on a dare, specifically coming to the restricted section and climb to the top of a bookcase. my friends know i'm afraid of heights but they also know i'll always accept dares." she sighed and swung her legs.

"Freak? oh do you mean if i have powers? i do, but i'm not a freak, i'm a morpher." she said, her eyes flashing angerily. she reached down to grab a book off the shelf below. she looked at it and noticed it was thick. "good ammo" she said laughing and threw it at chris.

Chris simply took a few steps to the side. The book hit the floor harmlessly.
"How do you intend to get down, anyway?"

"i don't know? care to help me down?" she asked and smiled, grabbing another book, seeing that it was one she wanted she stuck it inside the bag beside her. she shrugged and waited for chris's answer, closing her eyes so she didn't see how far down it was.
