"I am glad to not be an inconvenience then miss." Her smile was warm and welcoming, as if she was just a blossom of light. They walked happily, their shoulders touching occasionally, which sometimes gave her a flutter in her stomach. There was something special about this girl. 'God, this is a bit too much.' The wolf said with a disgusted sound as he reconsidered even staying with her. Orlena only giggled, but she had waited to do so until it didn't sound so out of place. The wolf only padded behind them.

"I do go to the school, yes. I needed to keep up my education, though this place is a lot different compared to where I came from." Her smile stayed on as she looked at Briallen the entire time. "I'm sixteen actually, so that makes me in the 10th grade. What about you?" Hopefully they were close in age. "I will be your friend, don't you worry okay?" With that, the girl looked down at their hands, and interlocked them together, to reassure the girl. "You can count on me, miss Briallen."

Briallen certainly noticed how their shoulders brushed together every once in a while as she walked. Was she the one walking closer intentionally to make that happen, or was it Orlena? Perhaps a bit of both of them? Either way, Braille was enjoying the little touch that came and went as they walked along the trail.

"Currently seventeen, but my birthday is coming up and so is graduation," Briallen said with a grin as she scratched at the back of her head. "I really need to figure out a major..." she muttered to herself.

There was something in how Orlena said 'I will be your friend' that made Briallen's heart skip a bit. Maybe because she had spent a lot of time keeping to herself, or maybe just because Orlena just had such a damn pretty smile.

"Well, I don't know how I kept missing you at Starlight--but I'm glad I ran into you here," Briallen replied with a bright smile of her own. Then they were holding hands. She had just met this girl, but it felt incredibly natural.

As they walked out of the more forested area of the park, Briallen gestured to a nearby cafe. "Know if that place is any good? I haven't been there before."

"Ah, well I do hope that you find one that you enjoy yes. It would good for you to be happy with whatever path you chose to take." Thankfully Orlena still had a year to figure out what she wanted to go for a major. It was either that she was going to major in something magic related to improve her power, or that she was going to just get a job and a house for her own. Orlena would want someone to share it with though, which may be hard to find. "I myself am sixteen, but my birthday is in a few weeks." With a nod, she squeezed Briallen's hand happily.

"I am glad we met too. You are very pleasant and I already enjoy being around you, Briallen Miss." She paused and looked at the cafe, looking back at her furry friend who was just chilling in the back. "No, I would love to find out though!" There was a childish giggle that came from her before she pulled the girl in.

"Yeah, that's what I gotta figure out. I love sports and fitness, so I'll probably end up doing something related to those," Briallen replied with a shrug. She honestly hadn't given it much more thought than that. Did they even have professional sports on the island? She hadn't really come across much beyond what was at the school.

Briallen let out a little laugh when she realized Orlena kept calling her 'Miss' or 'Miss Briallen'. There was quite a contrast between Orlena's formality and Briallen's more casual demeanor.

"Really, you can just call me Briallen. Or Bri. or Allen. Whatever suits your fancy," Briallen grinned, before soon finding herself being pulled into the cafe by her enthusiastic companion.

"Ah, table for two please?" Briallen asked the host as they stepped inside, stifling her own laughters as Orlena's giggles were terribly infectious.
