A snap. A giggle. It was all Jett needed before he was off again, laughing and hooting. This was nothing at all like an actual hunt, where things were silent until the final moments. In a true hunt, there would have been blood on his teeth by now. But Jett wasn't thinking of dark things and the taste of copper on his tongue. Instead, his mind was on the warmth of the day. How the trees shaded this area and laughter bubbled in his chest. It was a perfect Summer thus far.
When he caught up to Jeong, he grabbed the other man by the back of the shirt, so they both went tumbling to the ground. He rolled, making sure he hit the ground under Jeje rather than the other way around. Jett was just more durable than his cute boyfriend. Again, he laughed and held Jeong close, kissing him, excitement radiating out of his every pore.
Jeong's lips tasted like sweat and coffee and never before had their been a better concoction to Jett. The Skinwalker's heart was beating fervently in his chest; he was drunk on good feelings and for once in a very long time he was pretending to be nothing. He just was.
"I love you," Jett said it in a breathless daze, barely registering how important those three words may have been.
It was one of the best days of his life. The sun was beating down on him, so every second became increasingly hotter. The sweat lingered on his skin like some weird, foreign glue. His eyes were hurting because of the rays of light, as every time he faced a certain way, Jeje had to raise his hand to protect himself. The tiger was out of breath too, as for a long time, a strange man had been chasing him around, like some tiger hunter. None of those things mattered though; he was in love.
He lunged to the side, trying to avoid his boyfriend. It wasn't that he didn't want to be close to him-which he obviously did- but it was a part of the game that they were playing. A sort of, very romantic cat and mouse. With every look that Jett gave him, whether it be a somewhat hungry one, a calm one, or the a face he had not seen often; bliss. His stomach tightened every time they stopped for a brief second to catch their breath, as if Jett was lingering his eyes over his body, into his core.
In a matter of seconds though, he was tumbling to the ground, wrapped in his arms. In those moments, he didn't care that he had been caught; he just loved the presence of the older man. When they kissed, it was as if all of the wasted energy shot back into him in one take, filling his body with passion and happiness. When the man pulled their lips apart, Jeong only stared at the words that came out of his freshly kissed lips. I love you echoed in his head, as it took a few seconds for Jeje to even register what Jett had said. It had been so long, since that faithful day when the tiger had confessed his feelings. It was almost as if he had forgotten that Jett hadn't ever said it back to him.
"You love me?" His eyes widened, almost in horror. Even before he could say them back, he felt something wet come out of his eyes. Was he... Crying? Jeong jumped a bit as he slowly weaved his hand up to touch his face. The tiger sniffed a bit, to make sure that no more tears came out; but that was futile. "O-Oh my god." His rather tiny hands covered his face as a few sobs escaped him. How could he not be emotional after such a long time of waiting. He felt like some princess in a romance movie, that his prince charming had come to make a mess of his fragile heart. This was the first time someone had ever said those three words to him.
After a few moments, he uncovered his hands to reveal his flushed expression. Jeje was embarrassed to be so red; as well as the fact that some of it was due to his earlier crying. Jeje liberated his arms, wrapping them around the man's neck, before he pulled him close for another, more passionate kiss. He felt like his heart was going to explode. All the years and times that he had said it with no reply had finally paid off. The kiss lasted a few seconds, before the realisation that he had not said it back kicked in. He made sure that there was eye contact between them before he uttered the words. "I love you too." A bright smile plastered his lips. "Took you long enough."

"Eh... Sorry? Why are you crying, isn't this a happy thing?" Jett squinted, trying to empathize. It just wasn't in him, all this emotional stuff. He flipped them, so Jeong was under him. Jett balanced on his elbows; body pressed to Jeong's.
Jett canted his head to the right before swooping down for a hard, loving kiss. Then, Jett peppered Jeong's face with light kisses. "Of course, I do. How could you think I didn't? I love everything about you, from your nose to your toes. I know I'm a dick most of the time, but I don't want to hurt you. Not ever."
This was a rare moment of intimacy. Jett felt too exposed, too open to attack, rejection, ridicule. "I just hate saying it; you know that. I hate all the gushy stuff, most of the time." Jett kept his face low, nose to nose with Jeong. Their foreheads were pushed together so Jett could feel the heat of Jeong's face on his, his breath, and the softness of his ears.
Jeong chuckled at his statement. "These are happy tears stupid." He gave the larger man a little shove with the back of his hand. Jett was so stupid sometimes. Jeje was about to pulled himself down again, before he felt himself get flipped. An innocent expression went on his face. Jeong felt almost helpless under the weight of Jett. His strong gaze almost pierced through Jeong. He felt like some type of damsel now. Even through all of that, the kiss that he was given was magical. He wanted to be engulfed in Jett's affection, because that was the only feeling he liked. The smaller kisses that he gave out felt like tiny butterflies that were pouring love into him. His stomach was a tornado of ecstasy.
Jeje couldn't help but keep his small grin on his face. It was something to know that Jett loved him; but to hear it was a totally different story. "God you're going to make me pass out with all this love Jett." He teased him, placing one of his soft hands on the man's cheek. His eyes closed for a second as he took in the words. "I guess it's hard to know for certain when you never hear it back." His expression got a bit somber as he finished off. "And you're not that big of a dick; I know now that you mean well. I'm just glad though, to hear you say all of that." Jeong only gazed into his eyes, longingly, as if in an instant his affection would go away. "I love that I'm special to you. I love that I love you." Jeong kept his eyes glued to his love. "I know you don't, and you don't have to say it all the time but- fuck I feel like the luckiest person ever."

The forest was quiet as far as Jett could hear. Maybe that was because he was so focused on this moment. He'd always been cautious. When you're a monster who stalks the night, you were aware of the other beasts, but now, he wasn't. There was tension in the air. The wait for an important answer.
He was so rarely genuine. Jett liked to bullshit people, to pretend that everything was fine. That all the shit he gave people was the best they were ever going to get, but he wasn't an idiot. He knew.
"You deserve better than me, and you could get that, I know you could." He nuzzled into Jeong's neck, nipping the skin there with a hint of possessiveness. "I want you to stay anyway because I do. I love you. I love you enough that I'd let you leave, if you wanted."
What was Jett trying to say? In a few seconds, it had turned from affectionate to... Unknowing. Was Jett trying to get rid of him? Was he the one that wasn't good enough for him. Yes, he knew that he wasn't the only person, or man for that matter, that Jett slept with. While that tinged at him sometimes, he doubted that any other person was getting this level of honesty and affection from him. Jett was his in that moment, and his alone.
"No, I'd never leave you." The younger boy's arms wrapped around Jett tightly, as he never wanted to let him go. "I don't care about how bad you see yourself. All your flaws just make me love you more, you know." Jeong tightened his grip around the man. He knew that even if he wanted to leave Jett forever, that he would never be happy without this man that had ruined his life. "I know that you're selfish and that you sometimes would rather spend the night with someone else rather than me. I know you don't always appreciate me and a lot of the time your work comes first." He spewed out the words at him. "You've hurt me plenty of times over, and sometimes I've wanted to leave you forever." He changed the tone of his voice to be softer. "But you captured my heart. You made me happy when I felt like no one would ever care how I felt. You gave me a reason to get up every morning and be happy that I was alive. You are my everything Jett, and I love you more than words can say."

He rolled to his feet and rubbed the color from his face. "So, this is getting a little gushy for me. Heh. Why don't we do something else? I'm not -- What would you like to do?" Flustered. He was actually flustered. Jett had never been at a loss for words before, but he was now. He hated it.
Once Jett moved away from him, he sat up, still wanting to be close to the man. "I know you're a cock Jett." He smirked at the comment, as it was pretty obvious to anyone that spend any time with him. "But thank you, and don't worry babe. I think you've passed the point of truly hurting me." There were still a few things that would obviously make him want to kill Jett, but he wasn't going to mention that. "But I'm in love with you and so fair, your cruel nature hasn't turned me off that much."
Jeong stood proud and tall beside his boyfriend, giving him a side glance as his words seemed to fumble out awkwardly. "Dude- are you actually-" Jeong reached up and feel his cheek, before he pulled it outwards. "God you're so cute right now!" Jeje couldn't even recall if Jett had ever been flustered this much. Before Jett protested, he grabbed his hand and locked it in his. He felt overly proud of their relationship now, and he wanted to show it off. "Hmm... Well what is the cheesiest thing I can think of..." He tapped his lip with the fingers on his other hand. After a few seconds, a slew of ideas hit him. "We could go drinking, and maybe dance for a few hours? Maybe go and swim with the sharks?" A bright smile crossed him. "O-Oh or maybe we could go look at cute little animals or something. Or hold hands and walk around?" But the last idea was maybe the best. "Or, we could just go home and binge watch scary movies all-" He paused. "Not all cuddled up and see how many movies it takes for me to cuddled up to you like the wimp I am?"

The excitement of the hunt was still coursing through his blood, enough that his arousal was almost palpable. He stood and bounced on the balls of his feet, like a boxer ready for a fight. Jett paced, like an animal trapped in a cage and looked Jeong over hungrily. The lack of a smile might have been enough to make the look threatening.
Two long steps and Jett was in front of Jeong again, hand out to be held. "Let's dance. Slow down, under the moon. Just mess around, you know? Doesn't that sound fun? Teasing seems fun too, but we could do that right here unless you were hoping for some movie fun times."
He sprang on the tiger, again pinning him to the ground and giving him a rough, needy kiss. He wanted to touch, be touched. He wanted to pin and tear and possess. Jett was a hunter at his core, and Jeong had always been the best prey. A sweet drug Jett could never work out of his system. Christ, this was hard. Jett had never wanted this, but now that he had it, he'd never let it go.
He was a bit disheartened when none of his ideas were mentioned. That was alright, it was usually like that anyways. "That sounds really nice." He gave his hand a quick squeeze before he stared at Jett. "That excites me actually." The smile on his lips indicated that he wasn't lying about it. "As long as I'm with you, nothing else matters. So we can s
