Jess was wandering the forest in her tiger form, something that she had come used two since she moved to the island. She was wondering if her parents were ever gonna find out where she was. She had just took her birthday money and left the house, she had to find somewhere she belonged. She didn't like being an outsider when she tried so hard and managed to actually achieve her goals. She heard footsteps...human ones and quickly shifted back into her human form. It was probably for the best, she didn't want people shouting wild animal. You would think that they would realize everyone wasn't wild.

She left the bushes, trying to pull all the twigs from her hair, when she bumped into someone. "Oh sorry" She said her thick British accent, making the words jumbled together as she stepped back to catch her balance. Thank the fates, for werecat super balance.

A day after recently arriving on Manta Carlos, Han had the chance to look around parts of the island in human form. He soon found himself exploring the woods; It had a calming atmosphere to it, so he stayed a little while. So here he was, looking around, full of curiosity when he abruptly bumped into someone! He wasn't as lucky as the other person to have such good balance, but managed to grab a tree before he fell.
Thank god for enhanced werewolf reflexes.

"Oh, d-don't mind, I wasn't looking where I was going." was Han's response to the girl.

Jessica smiled and nodded, making sure the guy was okay. Of course it had to be a guy, hopefully it wasn't safety patrol. She wasn't exactly sure she was supposed to be in the woods. She hadn't even checked in with her employees, and she had totally ditched a lot of her responsibilities. "Are you new here?? I haven't seen you around" She asked cautiously taking a deep breath when in actuality she was sniffing him.

He smelled a bit off, like funny....almost like a dog but not quite. Maybe he just had a dog...she didn't really get along with the household pets. However she had came across a couple of werewolves and they seemed to be okay.

Han stood back up, brushing off any dirt or whatever that may have gotten on his clothes. To say that he was a bit embarrassed that he fell the way he did in front of someone wouldn't be far off.

"Y-yes, I'm new here. I've been here for about a day." was his response. After a moment's hesitation, he figured he should at least introduce himself. "M-my name's Han, by the way, pleasure to meet you." he said, extending his hand.

Jessica nodded in acknowledgment, so he was new. That was kind of interesting. However new people showed up all the time so she'd hold off her judgement until she knew more. At any rate, it was a new friends and she was excited to meet him.

"Well, if you need a tour Guide, I'd be more than happy to help. " She said smiling brightly and then shaking his hand "My names Jessica, but I go by Jess" She let go of his hand and stuffed her in her pocket. She wanted to ask why he was in the woods, but that would be rude. Perhaps he was looking for someone, or he needed to be in the woods. At least he didn't seem to be hiding a body...what if he was hiding a body.. OMG was he hiding a body??

Han smiled back at Jessica as he answered "That'd be great, actually. Thanks." Thank god she seemed nice enough to brush off their encounter. She seemed like a new friend and was happy to have met her. Not once did it cross his mind that the forest is a strange place to be walking around alone, he just figured she liked it here.

Running out of things to say, he tried to keep a conversation going. "...So, what kind of things do you like?" he asked, less nervously than before.

Jessica smiled, she didn't smell or see any blood on him, so she crossed off having killed someone. Of course, not everyone she met was going to be a crazy murderer, she hadn't even met any one of those types of people. She supposed she could give him the benefit of the doubt, Unless he had chopped up the body and hide the parts around the forest....he could've washed off the blood before he got to the forest. She ran a hand through her hair and pushed those thoughts away, she was just being paranoid because of her being alone.

"So what bring you to the forest" She asked, trying to make it seem like she was curious about him and not about whether or not her was a serial killer that liked to kill pink haired eighteen year olds.

"Well,"he started,"I was looking around town at first, but then I stumbled across this place here. I guess it's just relaxing here." Now that she brought it up, he couldn't help but wonder what on earth she was doing alone in the forest? Did she just like it here like him? Now he was curious.

"So, what brings you here?" he asked, in an equally curious tone.

Jessica nodded she totally understood about the forest being quiet. Mostly because there was no one to spot a dead body being buried. She should probably stop thinking he was serial killer, it wasn't nice to judge people and he didn't look like a serial killer. What did serial killers look like anyways? he didn't know but she figured she should give him the benefit of the doubt.

"Oh, for the same reason. It's quiet and I like nature around me when I go for a run." She wondered what else she should ask before offering to lead him out the forest. He was gonna murder her, it wuld be better to do it where there was people to scream for help. Of course she could defend herself, but witnesses were always better. "So, do you want me to show you around now...or exchange numbers so you continue your relaxing?" She didn't want to intrude on his peace retreat of sorts.

Han listened to Jessica's response, totally unsuspicious of anything. "Oh, that's understandable. Having nature around you really helps you clear your head, doesn't it?"

Then she reminded him of her offer to show him around. It would be nice to have someone there who knows the place, and he kind of liked being around her anyways.

"Oh no, that's fine. We can go now, if you'd like?"
