William was pissed, his blood boiling, making it harder to hear the overwhelming sound of the giant waves crashing against the shore as it drummed loudly inside his ears, every note a battle song. He clenched his teeth, tasting blood in his mouth as he bit against his cheek, grabbing a fist of his own hair as he tried to suppress the feeling that killing somebody right now would be such a good idea... And that was it, wasn't it? He wanted to kill someone, to hit, and break, and tear until the burning need in his gut would go away, and he was tired of suppressing it, and he was so pissed. So, so pissed.

He thought that getting a bad reputation would push them away. Threatening to kill someone with a mad look in his eyes every time somebody dared to make a comment about those ridiculous rumors they themselves have made up about him worked for some time, and they left him to roam the halls in relative peace. However, the downside of all this was that, given time, it only served to breed more rumours, and more and more of this violent behaviour was needed to stop them talking when he came down the hall, until, at some point, it became more than a defence mechanism, more than a simple habit-it became his true nature and his fu*king loved every minute of it. It gave him reason, reason to be mad, reason to be violent, and a near completely free rein, for he had realised that a delinquent doesn't have to follow the rules, doesn't have to show up on time or bother to write his homework because nobody expected him to. And it wasn't like they could kick him out of the school. Where else could a freak of nature like him go?, he reasoned, and stomping on that fear, continued to do as he would.

Only, even this had to come to and end once. The teachers got tired of his behaviour, the stuff treating him like he wasn't worth of their time, and the other students, seeing what, became less afraid of him. And thus, the bullying and the name calling and the rumours of this and that that he has done started yet again. This time, there was no escape from that. He had already done everything that he could. It was just that this time he was not a boy who just stepped on the island, afraid both of his power and the world, unable to speak two words without clamming up. No, this time, he was a violent fighting machine with a sword wielding warrior on his side (although the sword wielding warrior part was for the most part unreliable; Warrior refused to fight whenever he saw that the fighting was unnecessary; he didn't want William bullied but he also refused to hurt anybody). So William fought, breaking noses and twisting arms, until the school has finally had enough, suspending him from classes. That was the first time he seriously thought about clawing somebody's eyes out, when that stupid woman came to tell him that he wasn't allowed in the building any more, as she fixed those ugly as shit small red glasses. He started at her for a minute, before turning around and running away.

He came here, hoping to calm down, however, the shaking of the ground beneath his feet because of the harsh ocean waves did nothing for his pulse. If anything, it only made it beat stronger.

William... Spirit spoke, and his shoulders tensed at the very sound of the wolf's voice. He has been waiting for him to speak for hours now.

However, the wolf said nothing more, simply nuzzling his head against the boy's hand, as if he was asking to be petted (and if anybody who ever saw this commented on it later, that person would soon finde themselves without an arm or a leg they could have sworn they had just a moment before).

Usually, this would be enough to get him out of his fool mood, however, today, it did nothing for him. The soft fur brushed against his fingertips, and he he felt nothing but a need to grab and pull. He sighed, his chest feeling heavy.

Why couldn't the world just disappear?

Out over the ocean a monolith of a machine stood hidden, it’s presence masked by it’s high-tech cloaking array that rendered it invisible to both the mundane eye as well as technological or magical detection. The vessel itself was an intimidating machine, a large black, red and dark gunmetal grey airship that was large enough to be plainly visable from the island if it where not for the cloaking magi-tech that kept it’s presence unknown.

In the massive central command center of the craft Alice Mordrake sat in a large command chair with a series of paper-thin floating holo-screnes surrounding her. Looking over the information on the screens a twisted grin appeared on her face. “Heh…looks like it’s time to start the show! Inaba, unleash the cyberlich!” Alice said in excitement. With what appeared to be a black bunny rabbit with a red gem in the center of it’s forehead materialized out of seemingly nothing beside Alice’s chair. It floated through the air, gliding gracefully To Alice’s left side. Inside Alice’s mind all the possibilities of what she could do with William’s power came to vibrant life. She imagined herself mass-producing his powers and creating invincible armies of destruction. It’s only a matter of time before I’ll be invincible! Alice thought to herself with great pleasure.

“As you wish, Alice-hime!” The black rabbit Inaba exclaimed and with that below Alice’s command chamber something began to stir. Deep in the bowels of the ship a pair of mechanical red eyes lit up in the shadows. From the darkness movement began and the sound off a hatch opening soon filled the blackened chamber. Out of the hatch a intimidating figure emerged; it was clad all in high-tech black armor. Looking like a wicked combination of medieval dark knight and futuristic robot, it's most noticeable features of the figure where it’s horned, demonic silhouette and glowing red mechanical eyes. As it fell towards the ocean a pair of demonic wings made of black and red-energy erupted from it’s back and propelled it across the ocean at lightning speed towards William’s location kicking up impressive waves in its wake.

Inside the airship Alice continued her work. “Inaba ready the control device!” Alice exclaimed and with that the data on her holo-screens started to change. Back in the bowels of the ship another hatch opened and a large beam of magical energy blasted into the water, parting the very area where it made it’s impact and digging down into the earth below. Inside the beam a high-tech cylinder-shaped device soon materialized and made it’s way down the shaft of energy and into the earth. On Alice’s screens a diagram appeared of where the device made it’s impact. Once lodged within the earth a series of cables erupted from the device like the roots of a plant, snaking their way through the crust of the earth towards William’s location, a process that also was tracked by Alice’s screens.

As the seemingly robotic creature that the craft had unleashed approached William it flew up over the boy and landed gracefully behind him in a dramatic fashion, landing in a kneeling position with it’s head down. It retracted it’s wings and slowly lifted its sinister gaze to William. Inside of her ship, Alice began to speak and as she spoke an intimidating, robotic voice started to come from the machine, speaking the same words Alice herself was saying from the comfort of her ship.

“Well, well, well…I can see we’re quite upset. I know what you want, William. You hate this world. You wish it could just go away. You want to end it all. Well…allow me to grant your wish!’ With those words the robotic monstrosity made a quick hand motion and a red magic circle appeared beneath William. “This seal is a black magic technique, William, meant to unleash one’s dark powers. You could say it forces the hatred and evil within you to come out. It’s only useable by one versed in the highest levels of black magic magic. It's your lucky day, William, because I fit that exact requirement. Within a matter of minutes your true power will be unleashed and within my grasp!" Alice continued to say through the machine.

What was unknown to all on the scene save for Alice herself was that the machine was in fact a deadly weapon known as a cyberlich. A twisted form of undead born of magic and technology working in tandem, the cyberliches Alice's are the personal combat devices. They possess the undead bodies and magic powers of the beings they where in life yet their minds and souls have been replaced with a “psychobrain” that Alice controls through her mind-hack power. Once Alice “mind-hacks” a psychobrain she is able to permanently direct actions of the mindless undead that possesses the psychobrain. This particular cyberlich was a powerful dark mage before it’s death and transformation into an undead puppet, and was absolutely perfect for the task at hand.

In her ship, Alice smiled gleefully as her little toy activated it’s seal. She now waited eagerly to see what would happen when William’s true destructive potential started to come to the surface.

There was something in the air.

He did not know what it was, but he could still smell the wrongness of it, the stench of something dark almost replacing the worrying smell of anger and bitterness that was coming from William himself.

William... the wolf spoke, deciding to ignore the whiff of dark magic that he had, without knowing, sensed a second before. Yet, after seeing how William's shoulders tensed at the very sound of his voice, he did not know how to proceed. There were so many things that he wanted to tell the boy, but somehow, he could sense that now, at this moment, they would be all wrong.

It hurt him more than he could ever express with words to see the boy standing exactly where he had began all those months ago-bullied, angry, and alone. Even the terrible attitude of a troublemaker was a thousand times better than this, for at least then he had a goal (even if that goal was highly dangerous as it involved annoying the teachers at every step of the way).

Still, what had hurt him much more was that William seemed to reject his presence. Usually, the boy would take every chance he could get to bury himself in his fur, sometimes crying silent tears, sometimes simply hugging him without words. Yet, now, he did not only avoid doing that, he didn't even pet his head (he would never admit to anyone alive that he actually liked when William did that). And for the first time since he was summoned, Spirit felt as if he wanted to whine, howling at the Moon with sadness that he felt because of that.

As he shook, trying to suppress the howl, he felt William's fingers move. Just barely, over the tips of his ears, and he suddenly felt embarrassed of how happy that made him feel. Warrior snorted behind them, probably still standing in the exact same position he had left him, and he knew that he was ready to speak, when something happened.

A wave so big that it must have been unnatural suddenly rose above the ocean as something made its way across it towards them, the whiff of dark magic he had smelled before (but still didn't know what it was) becoming stronger and stronger until it completely override his senses, causing him to howl, in the end, but in pain rather than sadness. The horrid metal thing that landed before them spoke, but he could not hear the word, as he finally knew what really headache felt like. Still, he knew that he could not allow this to continue. He could feel the danger rising in the air...

...allow me to grant your wish! there was a heavy thud accompanying these words, and it took Spirit a moment before he realised that it was made by his own immobile body hitting against the cold ground of the rocky cliffs. Something has happened, throwing him away from the boy just as he had regained his senses, becoming ready, once more, to Defend them until the very end of his existence. Coincidence? He scoffed, which on a wolfe always seemed at least a little weird. There was no such thing as coincidence.

He tried to get up, but, for some reason, his paws weren't working...

William didn't hear a word of what the evil machine had said. He knew that there were words there. He could feel them dancing around his ears, trying to get in and mess with his brain, but the only thing he could think about right now was that this thing, this abomination unto life itself...has dared hurt his most precious friend.

SPIRIT! he yelled, a hot veil of red falling in front of his eyes as he stepped forward, the circle the thing made sizzling and making weird noises with each of his step. Tear him to pieces, Warrior. he said then, reaching the end of the circle, in a voice that was certainly not his own. It was a deep, terrifying sound in a way that a smooth voice of a man that is about to kill you terrifies you, and it sent Warrior forward before he even had the time to think. It was as if he was mindless once more, and William's every word was his unbreakable command.

Still, he knew he could not defeat the creature, for whatever it was, it was unfortunately much stronger than his simple sword. And something inside William knew it too, for as soon as Warrior was sent flying too, he spoke.

Destroy.

"A warrior sent against a master mage? Pathetic." Alice said through her undead machine puppet. With those words the cyberlich effortlessly sent Warrior flying back with a forceful telekinetic push, not even moving it's body to unleash it. As William uttered the words DESTROY[/I] Alice squealed in excitement back in her ship. That's it, William. Just a bit more and then your power will be unleashed and in MY hands! Alice thought to herself with glee. Focusing her mind back on controlling the cyberlich she began to speak again.

"Good. I can see your getting angrier. You should embrace that hatred. This world is such an evil place, no? Does it not deserve destruction? Perhaps....you just need some convincing. Let me show you how cruel this world can be....by torturing your little doggy here before I end his pathetic existence!" Alice exclaimed through the cyberlich. The undead machine immediately teleported behind Spirit and extended it's mechanical claw out over the wolf, unleashing a stream of black lightening that send horrific pain through Spirit's body.

"This lightening not only wracks your friend's body with pain but it'll also open wounds all across his body...slowly at first, but as I keep on forcing it through him it they'll only grow, his nerves frying in the process. Heck, his nerves have already taken quite a beating from just this small bit of lightening...only time will tell what will happen to more exposer." Alice continued to say through the cyberlich as it shot more lightening through Spirit.

"So, do you hate me yet? Do you hate this world? If so embrace that hatred! End your friend's suffering...end your suffering...end this world's suffering and bring forth the power of destruction!" Alice said through the cyberlich as it continued to torture spirit.

At first, it was slow, like a black mist rising from the back of his hand. Then, it grew bigger, spreading like a spiders web through the air around him, wrapping itself tightly around him, like a cocoon, before it disappeared again, leaving nothing but a trace of a singly line of black ink stretching across his skin. The world stilled for a moment, taking a deep breath and then holding it, hoping that somehow, someway, William wouldn't explode at the sight of his closest friends being tortured to death. Needles to say, it wasn't holding its breath for long.

The boy raised his head towards the machine once more. He did not speak, for the monster that has awoken knew no language of man. It stepped forward, like a ghostly shadow looming over William's body, and the boy moved with it, like a mirror. It raised its hand, and William's hand followed until the palm of it was pointing towards the mechanical mage. Only than did his lips started moving, but there was no sound coming from him, not until a hollowed scream of pain coming from behind him and echoing over the ocean land.

....AND THE WORLD CAN BLOODY WELL DISAPPEAR! DESTROY THEM ALL... and turn them to ashes...

This time, the voice was definitely William's. And then the boy exploded.

Destruction stretched from the inner world of its master like a black plague that it was, unwrapping itself from the boy and reaching for everything else; the stones, the sea, the grass, the sky...The mechanical monster before it. It carefully avoided only the two spots on the shore where the broken bodies of a wolf and a warrior still lied, unconscious, barely breathing, but still alive. The spirit that was summoned from Creation could not be that easily destroyed, as the world was about to find out, as Destruction carefully wrapped itself around it, like a snake around its prey.

This was what Alice had been waiting for. Back in her ship she bounced triumphantly in her seat, giggling with twisted glee as she watched Destruction take hold of William through her holo-screens. “Finally! Took ya long enough! Now it’s simply a matter of drawing destruction out to its peak!” Alice exclaimed as she shifted her attention back to controlling the cyberlich. With a single thought the lich quickly created a magical shield, protecting itself from the destructive energy William was unleashing. The red and black energy of the shield served it’s purpose fine at first but slowly it started to dissolve, fizzling away as it was bombarded with William’s destructive power.

Once the shield was fully dissolved the cyberlich immediately teleported into the sky, hovering out of reach of the destructive energy now permeating the area. It’s massive demonic wings of dark energy activated once again.“Yes…that’s it, William, or should I say spirit of destruction. You know what you want to do to this world. So why don’t you hurry up and do it!? This power you’ve unleashed is paltry compared to what you can really do! You haven’t even scratched my armor yet...”Alice said through the cyberlich. Meanwhile, deep beneath the ground, something sinister was snaking its way towards William and the lich. The writhing mass of wires and cables that had extended from the device Alice planted into the ground earlier was almost at its destination. Soon it would erupt from the ground and initiate phase two of Alice’s plot.

However, for now the most important thing to Alice was drawing more power out of William. “This world has treated you so unfairly, William. It has isolated you, singled you out and broken you. Isn’t it time you taught it a lesson? The world is filled with so many disgusting people, so much unfairness. Isn’t it time to end it? Still having trouble? Well then, how about I make your decision a bit easier!” Alice continued to say through the lich. With those word her cybernetic undead puppet extended its hand and formed a small orb of dark energy in the palm of its claw. Raising its arm up it cast the small orb down into the ocean causing a disproportionately large series of impact waves as the tiny energy ball slammed into the surface of the earth. Within seconds it smashed its way through the earth’s crust and Alice continued to speak through the cyberlich to William.

“You have friends, no? Well, what if they where to all die right here and right now? How would that make you feel? Well, if you don’t damage me that’s exactly whats going to happen. Once that little ball of energy hits the core of this planet I can detonate it through my will, causing this planet’s own molten core to burst through its crust. Of course….I need concentration to do that. Unleash your true destructive power against me and you’ll save those you care about. Fail and they will die with this world! You have 25 minutes before my spell reaches the core, lets see what you can do in that time.” Alice exclaimed through the cyberlich. While the attack the cyberlich had unleashed was certainly capable of doing what she had said Alice had no intent of actually detonating the spell. It was all a ploy to push William and get him to further sink into the grasp of destruction. Only time would tell whether or not it was successful.

There were words, right? Just a moment ago he was able to understand them. The creature...it was trying to taunt him. Saying something about the end of the world. He laughed inside his own head. Wasn't that the point of it all?

Yeah. Yeah, that's it. That's what he wanted to do. Destroy the world. Destroy the world, and maybe the stone inside his chest would finally be lifted.

Still, there was something wrong. Something was amiss, a single thought rising in front of his power, stopping it from reaching its peak.

Ah, yes. Spirit and Warrior.

He moved slowly as if he was walking through water, kneeling first by the injured Wolf's side, inspecting his wounds with his empty, hollow eyes, looking at him from somewhere deep inside his head. He was still alive. He then raised his head and looked over towards Warrior. He was still moving as well. That was good. However...

COME. he ordered, and the silent creature moved, his limbs jerking as the pain shoot through them. DON'T MOVE. And with that, he turned his back on them. They were safe there, behind him, or at least as safe as anybody could get once an end of the world was about to start.

And then he was sinking.

His mind filled with what felt like gallons of deep, cold water, his body feeling heavy, his mind eaten away. Yet he could still tell that there were words. The creature was still speaking...

Friends. the creature has said. What was that? He knew just a moment before. Yet, now, his mind was empty. Still, he knew that the very notion that he had any made him want to laugh. And he laughed, honestly, wholeheartedly, like he hasn't laughed in months, closing his eyes, and tilting his head backwards as far as it could reach.

And then the laughter died, and the boy opened his eyes, only there was no boy there anymore... Just the endless pools of red. The Summoning was complete. William's mind was gone. Destruction took over....

...and the dark mist rose from the ground, reaching towards the sky and the creature there, eating away everything that it touched. The wind stopped as it came in contact with it, and a unfortunate bird perished, as the mist rose higher and higher, and wrapped itself around the legs of the creature, turning it to ash. And the ash fell like a slow rain down to the ground, pieces of it getting stuck in William's dark hair as the boy's body stood there, motionless, looking towards the ocean from which, the creature inside knew, as he could see all the word for what it was, came the consciousness behind the winged demon hanging in the sky. And even though it had no knowledge of the world apart from what it could see, a mindless beast that it was, it still sent a single shiver of its power back through the connection that existed between the undead mage and Alices ship... And the machine started turning to dust... And then it turned towards the ground on which it was standing and it saw the worms of the technology cords that were making their ways toward them, and it sent a shiver of its power there as well, making the ground root, and everything within turn to ash... And all of this was done in a way colder than ice, for the creature was still calm, still a way away from its true power.

But the explosion would come soon, and the world would be turned in a sea of endless storm.

It was beautiful. It was everything Alice had imagined it to be and soon it would be hers! The massive black energy cloud eviscerated everything in it’s part, from an innocent bird to the cyberlich itself. The machine relayed under the dark energies William emitted, it’s sleek black armor slowly disinigrating as it was enveloped by the darkness. While the mechanical shell was totally destroyed the spirit of the thing, it’s undead core and the psycho-brain controlling it had survived, Alice immediately teleporting them to safety as soon as William unleashed his dark energy. You can destroy it’s shell all you want, but it’s soul and powers are NOT gonna be sacrificed! Alice thought to herself as she successfully recalled the cyberlich’s undead soul and the psychobrain controlling it.

Unfortunately, while she had managed to save at least part of the cyberlich, her other device wasen’t as lucky. The cords where incinerated completely by William’s power, sending tongues of blue arcane fire flying up into the air. “DAMN IT!” Alice shouted as she slammed her small fists against the arms of her command chair. “I didn’t know he could sense things that deep underground! It looks like my hand has been forced, Inaba. We can’t channel the genesis network to reformat William alone. It looks like we’re gonna be forced to reformat the entire earth instead. ” Alice said, her tone obviously frustrated. Inaba’ eyes filled with fear. “Alice-hime…you don’t mean?! You’re going to summon a Genesis Engine!?”

"It’s either that or we let him blow up the earth and the seat of my power base. While I didn’t want to reformat earth due to its limitless potential I have no other choice now. Dispatch the agents stationed to go secure the island for the engine’s arrival!” Alice said to Inaba. The little rabbit nervously sent a message out thorough the systems and hovered closer to Alice, trying to find any comfort she could from her mistress. Alice stroked the floating hologram bunny, trying to calm her down as she continued to speak. “It’s ok, Inaba. Everything will be fine! You and I both know the Genesis Engine is stronger than even William’s power and when I summon it victory is assured. I just need to alter one of our world templates and we’ll be ready for checkmate! However…because the genesis engine will not fail I say we take our time with this. After all, if we’re reformatting all of earth William’s powers, and everybody else’s for that matter, will be our!...So we may as well enjoy watching what our new toy is able to do!” Alice said as a twisted grin appeared on her face. She opened up a file on one of her holo-screens and started to casually tinker with a massive set of data as she watched William’s progress, Inaba floating at her side eagerly.

(NOTE: You are free to end the thread here if you like. Alice isn’t going to do anything else right now since she’s set her sights on reformatting the earth. Right now her main goals right now are to see everything William can do before summoning the Genisis engine for checkmate and also to “secure” the island for the genesis engine’s arrival. So there is not much else she has to do to William personally.)

<div align=center>His hollow eyes saw nothing, his dead ears heard nothing, his cold skin felt nothing. He was nothing...

And the Destruction spread further and further into the world, reaching across the ocean and making it stir, reaching across the land and making it shake, reaching across the sky and making it dark. And the cold wind began to blow, and the heavy rain was falling from the quick darkening sky, and the trees that stood for hundreds of years began to fall as Destruction made its way towards the town. And soon there will be hurricanes, and tornados will ascend upon the school, and the people in there... Well, they will be gone, either by the touch of Destruction's dark power, or because of the rising of the Nature itself.</div>

<div align=center>And William slept deep inside his body, unaware, as Destruction eat away his mind, making him into nothing he already felt like...</div>
