Tracey dragged her fingers across the keys of the piano. It had been so long since she played. She didn't even know if she still knew how to play. Tracey had heard that it was one of those things that you simply do not forget - but she had her doubts. It wasn't like riding a bike. Learning how to play instruments took a lot of hard work...and you needed to practice playing constantly or else you'd forget it all. Right now, she had no idea which keys were for what notes. How would she be able to play without remembering that?

With her eyes closed, Tracey took a deep breath and began to play. A long time ago, she rarely had to look down at the piano keys to know what she was playing. This was the only test that would let her know whether or not she truly lost the ability to play the piano. It might just kill her if she could no longer play, but Tracey just have to get over it and start over if that were the case.

At the very least, though, Tracey knew she'd still have her singing and dancing to fall back on if she could no longer play.
