Nothing can exist here. No light, no matter, not even an insect could exist here. It was a true bottomless hole if Leo ever knew one. Void...yes, that was a good name for this plane of existence, if he could even call it a plane. It had been a few days since Leo had been drawn into the Void, ever since his normal everyday life was shattered. But his previous thought gave Leo room to pause; if this were a plane in which nothing could exist, how was HE still able to maintain his form? Was he changed the moment his whole body entered the portal? Leo couldn't very well tell now could he? He couldn't even tell which direction was up and which was down, how could he tell if his body had changed?

And so the young nineteen year old hovered there, not sure if he would ever see his reality, his friends, his family, ever again. The tears had long since stopped, Leo had eventually resigned himself to this black hole.

It was a sad existence, but it seemed that it was an existence the fates had willed for the boy.

The day itself seemed to pass by normally for the Academy. Class had just been let out for the many students and now seemed to be on their ways to various clubs, jobs in the city and what have you. The staff at this point were either heading home themselves or finishing up the various paperwork in their offices. All in all, fairly routine. Yet this academy was about to get a massive shock.

Cracks on lightning rained down around the center, followed by more, and more, and even more cracks before reality itself seemed to split open. From there, the crack seemed to exhibit some kind of push, as if it was attempting to force something out. At last, whatever it was trying to push out, finally fell onto the floor, in a daze.

The thing in question was a boy about 5'9, white hair, his robes being rather odd and slightly out of place with some of the other students' outfits.

This boy was none other then Leo. The Void had finally expunged him, and placed him with in a strange new world, with a strange new appearance.

Lance found the boy just as he landed, and rushed over to his side. He knelled down and tapped his cheek a few times. "Hey, are you ok?" He asked, wondering if he should bring him to the infirmary or bring someone here instead. Lance saw the light show that produced this new person, but knowing this place, and looking at his clothing, Lance had assumed it was some sort of spell practice gone wrong.

Cecily had been sitting at the fountain in the middle of the courtyard, ankles crossed. She was young in appearance, and looked the part of an innocent little girl; this meant it was easier for her to recruit at the school than most of Klaus' other employees.

She had been looking at her reflection in the water when she spotted the strike of lightening. It made her curious enough to stand and to follow the light. Doll Girl didn't fear being hit, or the intense heat lightening would create, for she did not feel them.

By the time she had gotten there (moving entirely too casual) Lance was already over Leo. Doll Girl, as she normally did, slid in beside Lance and leaned over the new boy. She wasn't sure how to wake a person, so she did what she normally did and rose a hand to roughly jab his forehead with her index finger.

"This one thinks poking him will wake him. It always works." Cecily nodded sagely at Lance. Yup. Poking people was a medically required skill. Or something.

Poke. Poke. Poke.

Those were the first feelings Leo had felt in the first few seconds out of the void. Was this hell and was Lucifer poking at him with a stick? Gotta say, dude has a terrible sense of humor. "Whoever's doing that, could you maybe stop with the touching...?", he mumbled, the first words he spoke in days. But the voice that exited was not his own. His voice was a bit more deep, carrying a British accent. This one was more North American in nature, although if it were New Yorkish or a more natural accent, he could not tell.

'T-That's not my voice....', were his thoughts. What had happened to the young lad...?

Slowly but surely, Leo began to rouse himself more, slowly opening his eyes as to not overload himself with daylight. The boy had not seen the sun in days after all. And what awaited his gaze was certainly NOT the hell he was expecting.

Instead, Leo's eyes were beholded to what appeared to be a school building, and from the looks of things, he was in some kinda...courtyard? He couldn't properly tell, as he lacked proper bearings, but it appeared to be some kind of school or academy. Slowly he felt himself wobble, his legs haven't been used in several days. Leo used the fountain for support and found himself looking into it's reflective pool.

After all, if his voice had changed, what else had changed?

Short answer?

Quite a bit.

No longer was his hair a Fall brown, but a pure white, and no longer had he worn his usual outfit of shirt, jeans and sneakers, but it appeared to him that he had transformed into some kind of mage! The robes were a bit of a tip off, the design feeling like a hoodie but not quite.

A feeling of shock and fear surrounded him. What the hell happened to his body?! It was like his soul was sucked out of it's normal coil and turned and warped into something else!

Naturally, Leo had something of a panic attack, his mind overloading with the new information.

Lance smirked at the doll girls confidence in her statement. This smile quickly faded when the man got up and started panicking.
"Hey, calm down." He told the man, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Everythings ok. Just an accident it seems. You're in one piece though, which is good. Lets just get you to a nurse or something, alright?"
