Live narrowed her eyes, "I said acquaintances but..." She let out a heavy sigh and rolled her eyes, grabbing his hand, "Fine. Friends it is then."
She dropped his hand and stood from the table, throwing her bottle into her recycling bin. Thankfully for Red's sake, she was too drunk at the moment to take real notice of him comparing them to some kind of family relationship. Surely, that would come up in later conversations though and Live would be overtaken with emotions and completely lose her shit when Red attempted to call her "sista".
"Alright kid. Thanks for getting me back to my room. You can go about...whatever it is you were doing before this. I'm gonna shower and then watch a movie or read a book or something."
The "or something" bit included the small chance that she might end up kneeling over the toilet later. Hopefully, the sports drink she just had would help prevent that.
