Private Finished Layer's on Layers

"Save them for someone who actually cares.."

Well, that was harsh. But that was Live. Especially when intoxicated.

"I don't understand why you waste your time on me. I thought at this point you would understand that I'm not someone who wants to be helped..."

That probably sounded like some bullshit but it was unfortunately true. Live didn't want people doing stuff for her. She had always done everything for herself. She was a strong, independent woman who didn't need no man...and yet here she was letting one walk her home and hold her hand.

"You're no different than anyone who is currently helping society. Not that many people are doing that anyways..." Live grumbled. She was cynical to no end.

They walked in silence until they reached Live's room. She finally released her grip on his hand and unlocked the door to Room 431.

Live almost seemed to tense as she entered her dorm. She was one of the lucky few who had a room to herself. And not just a bedroom but a bathroom and kitchen area as well. There really wasn't much in the kitchen, at least that could be seen. Live kept all of her things really cleaned up so that everything had a spot. That meant, the space didn't look very lived in, which it wasn't. She didn't spend much time in her room except when she slept. Other than that, she tried to avoid the space.

She shrugged, "Yeah. It was a pain to get them to realize that I would not put up with a roommate. First problem is I don't sleep at night so that means I can't room with a good majority of the students." She moved further into her space, heading to the fridge. It was fairly lacking in food. Just some drinks, condiments, bread, and some random containers of leftovers. "Second problem is I don't get along with people well. They assigned me one roommate before. I punched her in the face."

She pulled out a drink, it looked like some kind of sports drink, and grabbed a second.

"Here." She said holding it out to Stefan. "You deserve this kid."

"Eh, no I didn't have to punch her. But she told me to. It's a long story..."

She shook her head, "No it's not alcoholic. Believe it or not, I don't keep alcohol in my room." She said with a smirk as she popped the top off her drink and took a few chugs.

Live paused mid-chug and lowered her bottle, staring it Stefan for a moment. "Oh...yeah...Well. I finished it all earlier so there isn't any alcohol in my room right now."

She moved closer to Red, bending down so their eyes were staring right into each from just a foot or so away.

"Look, kid," She began the smell of alcohol seeping off her breath, "I don't wanna fight you. I fight a lot of people and I'm trying to be a good girl now. School threatened to kick me out not too long ago if I didn't straighten up my act. Doesn't mean I'm gonna start going all goody two shoes or whatever. But, that is why I am drunk right now. Had to finish my alcohol before they came by for a surprise room inspection or something."

She pulled back from him, moving to her table and flopping down in a seat.

"I'm not someone who does the whole friendship thing very well. I'm selfish, fairly uncaring about the other parties emotions and general a pain to be around unless you enjoy sarcastic assholes. If you have some hope of turning me into a happy little princess, you better move on out. I can tell you're a persistent little fella, a trait I admire, which is why I'm giving it to you straight. Your pretty entertaining though and just under my threshold of annoyance tolerance. I can tell you don't have many friends yet so, if you'd like, we can be acquaintances. I'll say hi to you if I see you in public, maybe even strike up a conversation if I'm in a super special mood. But don't think I'll have nice things to say or a smile to perk up your day. If you come to me for advice, it's gonna be pretty shitty advice by the world's standards but damn fine advice by mine."

She paused, taking another chug or two from her bottle. "Choice is yours." She said and then continued chugging her drink until it was all gone.
