He'd return the hug, wrapping his arms around her. It was indeed a heavy topic, but he loved her, he wanted to be with her, wanted her to be happy.

"Well, here you can just marry anyone you want once you turn eighteen." He knew being able to just choose who you marry was something she'd never had before. "Its part of the laws here, the right to choose."

Zeke would tilt his head thinking a moment. "Maybe, maybe there's a way to gain nobility," he'd heard of ways in Earth culture, but wasn't sure if Lycia's would even acknowledge anything like that.

Zeke would remove his glasses, hanging them from his shirt. "Not now," he'd say, gently leaning his face forward. There was something intimate about how she touched his face, something he really liked.

He'd smile as his fingers glided over his face. "I like it when you do that," once she'd finished he'd take her hand, gently squeezing it.

"Ready to head back?" he'd chuckle, "we have the dream waiting for us, and I still gotta grab my clothes."

Zeke would wrap his arms around her. "Yeah, the clothes and then the dream," he'd press his cheek against hers. "A beautiful dream with my beautiful princess," yes that sounded like a perfect night.

Taking her hand he'd lead her in the direction they came, grabbing their shoes as they went. He was getting ideas, of the possible ways he could get Lycia's parents to let them marry, of how he could somehow gain nobility.

"Love you Lycia," he'd say once more as they left the beach. He was happy and grateful to be with her, and intended to make her happy, no matter what happened.
