Milton walks along the shore of the lake, looking out over the water. He takes a deep breath and releases it. A true warrior trains daily, the vaguely recalled voice in his head had been saying all day, and through training shows his loyalty and honour to his father, his duke, his king, and his God, that he can defend them from those that threaten from near or far. He loosens his shirt and moves to draw his rapier. Something stops the blade from leaving the scabbard. Looking down, Milton sees the large, complex knot holding the sword in it's sheath. He frowns at the knot and tries to unravel it, completely unsuccessfully; neither end of the string holding the sword down is visible.
