Adelaida was jittery.
She had not let the fires out a full two days owing to constant work, and she was feeling the pressure. She was starting to learn the limits of her ability to keep the flames in, and on her brief naps she woke up to slight burning of her clothes.
Now that her schedule had cleared out, she headed out to the countryside, where she could let loose. Two days of fire backed up needed more release than she typically could afford in an occupied land.
Out here, she found a clearing, and shot up a brilliant plume of fire, that danced through the spectrum of colors. Adazzling display of pyromancy, if she could say so herself.
Hopefully, she didn't hit anything in the sky.
