Lucas inwardly wince, perhaps he had said the wrong thing. He didn't want to be insensitive. However he was glad to have a change of subject. He had no idea if it was a mom thing or a orphan thing. He did not want to get into when they had just met.

"Yes Klaus is my older brother" He said smiling softly. He was sure that his brother was well known. For different things here and there but mostly for being considered shady as all get.

"Its real, I swear. I have Midas touch" He said laughing a bit. A lot of people had that reaction to his various skills. He was going to make jewelry, he knew what he wanted to do. He just needed to do get it over with.

"What about you? We've mostly talked about me, I'm very interested in hearing about you"

Family was a touching subject no matter how you sliced it. Just about anyone who wanted to keep up a conversation with Live learned quite quickly that family, particularly mothers, was a topic to steer clear of. Of course, many kids at her old school had found this point of distress to be quite the weapon against Live. Eventually it back fired on them and well...now Live was at Starlight.

"I only met him briefly. I..." Live's thoughts drifted off for a moment as she tried to recall the events from the evening, "Well, I actually don't really remember much of him." Other than that he had been a greed demon and not too bad of a guy.

Live's eyes snapped back to the Lucas'. "Your interested in hearing about me?" She sound almost suspicious, like this had to be some kind of a trick question.

Lucas wasn't sure if she was trying to make him feel better or not. He was well aware of someone who wasn't able to remember his brother. Even though they didn't look much alike because he really did take after his mother a lot, he was associated with Klaus. Not that that was a bad thing, he thought his older brother was incredibly cool.

"That's fine, and yeah he pretty cool as people go" He was trying to stay away from the whole family thing. He wasn't going to push buttons if he didn't have too. Of course her surprise that he wanted to get to know her was a bit shocking. She was very pretty, and she seemed like a cool person.

"Yes, Is that a bad thing..I thought that's how people made friends" He asked just as supiciously. Of course he was told that's how people made friends.

Live wasn't trying to make Luke feel anything. She wasn't someone who tried to affect the emotions of others. Unless of course they affected her's but she tried to not let that happen either.

What she could recall of her encounter with Klaus had been fine. Better than fine really. She would agree with Lucas that his brother was pretty cool. Brothers...eh, Live was done speaking on that topic.

Live's eyes grew larger for a moment as she stared at Luke in awe. Her cheeks started to flush so she turned her gaze away from him again and back to the creature so she could continue to examine it's magical energy. "I don't normally make friends but..." She glanced back to the boy, "I suppose I can make an exception." Partially because he was cute but majorly because she wanted to know more about being part Muse. Live was quite thirsty for knowledge.

"I'm here because I'm a Shadow Walker. Only one, as far as I know. Only Walker in general probably.." She grabbed the statues arm as it saluted again in her hand, and tried to keep it from bowing. It was fairly strong though and it eventually managed to pull it's arm free and bow again. "Determined little fella.."

Lucas smiled brightly no matter what anyone said his cheeks were not red. In fact they were just...cold. Yeah that's what they were. It wasn't as if he had a reason to be shy now. She had agreed to make an exception.

"Oh a Shadow walker, I've heard of those but I've never met one. Though to be honest, I was kind if raised old fashion... Really old fashion so that's not surprising."

He said snickering at her and statues game. He taped it again and it went still, like a normal knight statue. "Yeah, they're always like that once you animate them. Mostly when people interact with them."

In an instant Live's eyes flashed back to Luke. "What have you heard about Shadow Walkers? Was it specifically Shadow Walkers or just Walkers in general?" The words followed out in a rush, her eyes ernest and her voice breaking away momentally from its monotone, dry state. Live had spent a lot of time trying to figure out who she was and it wasn't until arriving on the island that she was able to get some real information, not just mortals conjectures about the ancient tribal spirit guides.

As far as Live had been able to find, there was basically no information on Shadow Walkers. Walkers was the general term for a human body that was inhabited by a partially human but mostly spirit world soul. It was always a very specific spirit world or realm and the human then served as a connection between the two worlds; physical and spiritual. Usually Walkers were made to connect with elemental spirits (air, water, earth, and fire) as form of protection from or working with these things. But Live hadn't been made on purpose, part of a tribal ritual or anything like that. Her creation had seemed to be purely random, making her a pretty pointless being; not human enough to fit in the "real world" but not spiritual enough to dwell within the Shadow Realm...it was a very confusing existence.

She had found some information on Shadow Walkers in the school's library but it had been very minimal and nothing that she couldn't have figure out on her own. And nothing recent either...the last Shadow Walker had passed on almost 100 years ago.

Lucas was a bit taken back by her sudden urgentness. He hadn't realized she might not have known a lot about herself. "My mom mentioned them, when telling me about all the creatures she met. Not a lot of stuff" he said rubbing the back of his neck.

"If you'd like, I can ask her what she knows" he said tilting his head his mother was truly old, he didn't dare ask how old. He was pretty sure he had older siblings from His mother side, just none that she would admit.

He felt bad that he hadn't been interested enough to ask his mom more about the creatures she had met. Perhaps she cloudve found more hutbhe doubted it.

Live's expression fell and she moved back away from the boy, her cheeks flushing red again. She had noticed the shade of his too, after being closer, which made her blush even harder.

"Oh..." She said as she shifted the notebooks in her arms. One of them looked like a typical notebook for class while one appeared more like a sketch book. She pulled her arms in around herself and the books. "I don't wanna...I mean, you can ask your mom what you want but don't go bothering anyone. It's not a big deal or anything..." And just like that Live's voice was back to its typical monotone-ness and trying to sound like she didn't care or anything.

Lucas frowned, he noticed the shift and he felt horrible. Of course someone would want to know where they came from. "Its not a bother, honestly I want to help" he tried to seem honest and sure. He did want to help, Lucas was a very helpful person.

"Is that a Sketch book?" He asked curiously, did she like art? That would be awesome if she did. He hoped that maybe the change of subject would let him get to know her more. And then maybe she'd except his help. He didn't need to pushy, he just needed to offer.

Live's eyes narrowed slightly, almost suspiciously. He wanted to help? That sounded like a load of crap to her even though his voice was sincere. No one wanted to help someone like her. Especially once they realized what a terrible person she was.

She did the only thing she knew to do, and just ignored the comment and moved her attention to the next thing he said. "Yeah. Well, more of a journal of drawings." The words were a bit timid leaving her lips, her mind still lagging behind with the disappointment of not finding out more about herself. This next topic though was, well tricky. It was something Live really did enjoy and secretly wanted to share, but she was also just so guarded that it was difficult for her to know how to handle this sort of a situation.

The sketchbook was white with black sharpie doodles on the front and back. At first glance it just looked like a bunch of squiggly lines with a circle or flower of some sorts on the back, which was the side that was visible due to how she was holding it.
