Lucas had watched the sign up boards for the student council election. Normally he would've ignored it but he had this nagging feeling that he should sign up. It was more of a little voice that said win thi, win this. Of course Lucas being the Shy boy who was smiling and making the statues talk, wasn't sure he would be able to win. Especially since there were much better canadiates then him. This however wasn't the type of thoughts the little voice was allowing. In fact, the little voice was telling him that he was perfect for the job. That the job was supposed to be his, and even if he was trying to ignore the voice.

Lucas was currently animating the random figurines in the school to say vote for Lucas because what else was he supposed to do. He was still trying to figure out what he was supposed to say when explaining why he was running. He had most of his thoughts and ideas sorted through, he was just worried about delivery. More than that he was worried about not actually being able to say anything on the account of being flustered but he pushed that thought away. This was his very first high school expiernece and he was going to make the most of it.

He was of course trying to stay away from poster, no need to get carried away in making them. No he was determined to make sure that he at least he was in the running somehow. At any rate looking around he only saw a few people. He waited for them walk by the small statue he had placed around the school. He turned his head as someone walked by the statue of a knight and proclaimed "VOTE FOR LUKE!"

Live's day had been, well, horrible. She had slept in a bit so she had been late to class (not the first time) which led to getting sent to the office where she sat for a solid half an hour before being told to return to class. She really did not understand that punishment in the least. If they you are in trouble for not going to class, why the hell do they punish you by making you leave class?

Live was grumbling to herself about this and her wasted morning on her way to lunch when suddenly she was being yelled at. She jumped, causing one of the notebooks she was clutching to slip out of her arms and onto the floor. She quickly dropped the ground, grabbed it and shot back up. She looked around for the source of her startle as her eyes narrowed.

"Who the hell..?" She began to question when she spotted a little knight that once again proclaimed to "VOTE FOR LUKE!"

She moved closer to the little statue, "What the..." She said her face softening and her head tipping to the side in curiosity.

Lucas smiled nicely as he walked over towards the girl, but then he chickened out, and pretended to be looking at it also. He was not just going to spout campaign stuff at her. He was secretly hoping that she was interested in the statue. Mostly because Art was way more important than some election. Not that he would say such things out loud.

He gently tapped the statue and it saltued the girl before bowing, and then repeated the process. He figured just trying to make friends would be enough. "H-Hello" he said trying to make his voice sounds steady.

Live was just all kinds of jumpy today. Probably had to do with over sleeping...that always threw her off. Yeah, that had to be it because it would never be that this boy who just walked up may have been the most attractive person she'd seen today.

"Uh, hey." Live said awkwardly, her monotone voice and empty gray eyes helping to hide her emotions. She turned her gaze away from the boy quickly though as she watched the statue salute and bow and salute and bow and repeat. Unknown to the boy, Live's eyes had recently been cursed by a shadow demon, Score. While the strongest parts of the curse had worn off by now, Live's eyes were still enhanced enough where her sense of magick was extremely perceptive. However, she was still trying to learn how to decipher the different types of magick she had come across at SA. They were all so different...

"You control this little man?" She asked, her voice even as she starred down the little being. This energy was familiar to demons she had sensed before but it was muddled...mixed almost.

Lucas smiled and inwardly yelled for himself to get it together. "Yes, I animated him." He said somewhat proudly, it was always the animating that made his art work come to life. Lucas was really glad he had a girlfriend, it made him all the more comfortable with talking to the pretty girl besides him.

"I'm Lucas by the way, but most call me Luke" He offered up, hoping to catch the girls name. He was running out of things to say and he really wanted to get to know her. He was hoping to make his first platonic friend.

"Oh, I'm Live." She said as her eyes remained glued on the statue. Sure Luke was absolutely adorable but what was really fascinating was this little creature of his. The statue was quite well made itself and the magick used on it was fascinating.

"How do you do it?" She questioned, moving about the creature to view from a different angle. "I can feel the magick but I cannot completely identify it. Partially demonic but that seems a bit faint compared with what I am use to sensing..." She looked up at the boy as she now stood across from him, "What are you?"

Lucas rubbed the back of his neck. Liv was a nice name, he Wondered if it was short for Olivia. He had always wanted to meet an Olivia. He wasn't sure exactly what she meant about magick. To him it was everyday life to be able to due stuff like this.

"I just tapped it and thought about what I wanted it to do" He said shrugging his shoulders. He was wondering if she thought he was a wizard or something. He was not a wizard, he was just gifted. He didn't think he'd be able to do much dealing with magic.

"Half demon half Muse, you know like the Greek Myths?"

Live's face gave its first true expression as a smirk slid across her features. "Ahh.." She said, her voice showing clear interest. The expression faded quickly though back to a state of fake disinterest.

"Oh yeah, I know about the Greeks." Live had spent more time than she would admit with her nose buried in research at the schools extensive library. "But first time meeting someone related to their deities." The girl smirked, her cheeks turning slightly red as her brain yet again registered the attractiveness of the boy. Damn teenage girl body...

"What kind of demon are you though? It feels...slightly familiar. Like I've sensed it somewhere before but before my eyes..." Live suddenly stopped talking as she realized she probably sounded mad.

"Can I touch it?" She said her eyes glued to the statue once again.

Lucas gave a small nod, he did notice the change in the girl's features. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad thing. He didn't allow himself to dwell on it, he was sure that he could handled most things. As long as she didn't start flirting with him, everything would be fine. "Yeah, it's weird having a muse for a mom" He said rubbing the back of his neck. He was aware of the fact that his mother was something of myth, he was just so used to it that he had come to see it as a weirdness to growning up.

"Greed, demon" He stated somewhat flatly, it always came down that...even if he wasn't showing his horns. He kind of liked his ears non-goatlike as whenever they were showing girls had the tendency to pull them. He tilted his head in confusion, it was just a normal statue.
"Oh yeah, you can touch it. It's just a normal solid gold statue." Of course he didn't want to admit that he slowly made all the gold the statue was made out of. No that was bragging and as much as he wanted to brag, he had a feeling that it wouldn't impress Liv.

Live chuckled a bit though it was dry and sounded almost out of place, like she didn't really think what she was laughing at was actually funny. "Having anyone for a mom is weird."

Greed demon... Oh shit! "You wouldn't happen to be related to someone named Klaus would you?" She said as she poked her finger against the statue. It just continued to salute and bow.

Her eyebrows raised a bit at his following words. Solid gold? Normal?! When the hell was a solid gold statue normal? She wrapped her hand around the figure and tried to lift it. Well, it was definitely heavy enough to be gold and looked pretty damn real. Although the most gold Live had seen was on necklace. It had been out of her price range but she had been able to acquire it with...other means.
