Judas smiled.
"Sleep? Ah, but sleep is only the tiny rest. One cannot truly rest until the large one, the infinite one. All else is a waste of time. But I bore you. Tell me, are you a new student at the academy, or perhaps a veteran of the fine place? I myself have just recently transferred."

"One cannot truly rest until the large one, the infinite one." Judas had said... Jesse kept himself from doing anything that could be considered rude. Was he talking about... death?

He couldnt dwell on that now, he'd think about it later. He returned to the conversation. "I'm a new student, yeah... I've only been here a few weeks, but my sister was one of the first people here... uh, sorry ahead of time if I keep talking about her..." His cheeks became slightly pink, and he looked from the ground, to Lexie, to Judas, to the ground, and back to Judas again.

Judas waved away the notion, chuckling in a friendly tone.
"No, no, don't worry, she seems quite fascinating, don't feel awkward in my presence. It must be quite a thrill to have a family, I found it sort of irritating at times, but it's still a nice little bit of amusement, I suppose. Someone who unconditionally loves you, with some conditions. Hahah."

Lexie just stood there quietly watching the boys talk. For once she was..... quiet? Okay I can't take this! a voice in her mind said. Your right she said to the voice as she pulled out her skateboard. Her skateboard was black with pink flames on it. She stepped on it and started skateboarding around the cliff.

Judas leaned weakly against his cane, his eyes blinking as the rain fell against him, suddenly noticing Lexie skateboarding around.
Judas chuckled wryly, peering at Jesse with his lifeless eyes and charming grin.
"She seems like she's having quite a bit of fun in this weather, how rude of me to interrupt you two. Friend of yours?"

"You're right about the family thing... they can be really annoying sometimes, but they mean well."

Jesse nodded at Judas's next statement. "Yeah, Lexie and I are friends. And you didn't really interrupt us... so there's no need to apologize." He smiled slightly. "Excuse me for just a moment."

"Hey Lexie, can you just show me how do to that real quick?" he asked. "It looks fun... and not too hard... but mostly fun." He smiled once again, wondering how long it would take to learn how to skateboard.

"It's not that hard" she said camly. She hopped off her skateboard and waited for him to get on. She pulled out her ipod and turned it to Green Day.

"Yes, yes, let me see these skateboard tricks...How amusing they are, they truly seem like a bit of fun."
Judas watched the two students with a grin, his eyes blinking rapidly in the rain.

Jesse put one foot on the skateboard, and pushed off with his other one. He was actually doing it! Well, until he saw that there was a turn in the ravine, and he didn't know how to steer the skate board.

"Uh... Lexie? How do I steer this thing..." He looked back to where he was going, and before she could answer hopped off the skateboard and watched as it slowly rolled into a rock. Jesse quickly got it and picked it up, handing it over to her, laughing nervously.

"Um... yeah... I don't think I can skateboard... heh heh..."

Lexie giggled. "Just shift your weight in the direction you want to go" Lexie said as she hopped on it and skated it around. "Anyway got to go" she said as she skated back towards the school.
