Ara took a deep breath and opened one eye as she looked around. She had been expecting something to be in front of her when she opened her eye, but to her relief, there was nothing. She smiled slightly and gave a small sigh, and looked around the area. It didn't look like anything harmful was near by, or even there at all. "Maybe the Headmistress was wrong..." she mumbled to herself, and began to walk further into the mountains.
She looked around, and blinked wildly for a moment. The sun was setting! But... how could that be? Surely she hadn't spent the whole day in the mountains... or had she? Perhaps the fun of just exploring had over taken her, and time had slipped her mind.
The girl sighed, and leaned against a rock. She tapped her staff on the ground, just watching the sky as the first few stars began to appear.
