Looking to her left for a few seconds, and then to her right, it did seem that the bird was gone. Sighing, she stood up and leaned forward to hug her savior. "Thank you." She said with a smile as she soon after let go of their embrace. "Sorry about that, I should have told you sooner." She felt a bit bad for being such a wimp, as she felt she shouldn't ac t like she was defenseless. But as she thought about it, she was. It wasn't like she would ever fight, so the only thing she was good at was trying to calm someone down. That would never work if her or Lestat was ever in trouble.

Shaking her head, she looked at both of the trees to either of her sides, to see if the bird was still lingering. "How did you do it?" She asked curiously, as she had kept her eyes closed the entire time.

Lestat swayed his tail to the side as he felt the embrace of his girlfriend. Hugging her back and then letting go not too long from starting, he looked at her smirking a little. "No problem at all." he said making sure she knew that she didn't need to thank him for anything like that. He felt almost obligated to protect her from anything since he was her significant other but at the same time he would destroy anything that could ever hurt her. It was just to him that she was something extremely special in his life that he had to protect no matter what, he didn't want to lose her.

"I didn't do anything really, just a simple use of my powers." he explained to her. Though he knew that it was gone, he didn't really see exactly where it went. Because of this, he was curious as to where it had gone. he began to look around so that he could make sure it wasn't going to come back and frighten Flayace again. That wouldn't be the best thing especially since he just got rid of the damn thing. "Though, i can't help but wonder where it went..." Lestat said softly and under his breathe as he looked around aimlessly for it.

(sorry it took so long for a reply. Server switch made the links wonky for a bit)
Avian placed the panicked crow in her lap and wrapped her arms around it, making it it's own little nest.
"I hope they pass by too," Avian muttered to herself as she watched the two.
The other crows seemed to press closer to her at the sight of the boy, wary by his presence. Avian was now huddled up against the tree on her branch, a murder of crows snuggled up to her as they all watched the mysterious couple in suspense. She tried to keep her breathing steady to keep the birds calm, not wanting her nerves to set them off...not again.

Looking around, she too wondered why the bird hadn't reappeared or something of that matter. Was it hiding in the darkness, waiting to strike? She had no idea, nor did she really wan to think of that. She had the thought that it was most likely in the tree, that felt as if they were towering over them. "What about the trees?" She said as she looked at the one to their right, that looked oddly suspicious.

"Well then, shall we go check?" Lestat asked as he went forth while holding Flayace's hand. He wanted to show her that there was nothing to be afraid of but at this point he didn't even know where he was going to even look at. The tree that she had pointed out was actually looking rather suspicious but then again they all looked suspicious to someone who was afraid of what could be 'lurking' in them. It was true that crows were some of the most ominous and creepy birds out there but even still there should be nothing really to be worried about especially since Flayace had someone who wasn't afraid of birds with her. Shouldn't that help at least a little?

As he walked over with Flayace in hand, he looked up at the tree and saw a mass of crows over there. That wouldn't be the best sight to Flayace either. But it seemed as if something was in the center of these crows. What was it? Lestat wondered for a moment before he had two crucial thoughts pass through his mind. First off, shouldn't he clear out the birds for the sake of Flayace's piece of mind? Secondly, If he clears out the birds, he would be able to see who or what is with these birds. Well, he might as well do it.

Holding out his palm, Lestat summoned a small amount of magnetic waves. He held them there for a moment as he continued to look at his target, or rather targets. Within moments, he shot the waves at the birds which made most, if not all, of them fly away without a second thought. Hopefully whatever else was in that tree wouldn't be a real threat or some massive bird that could eat off everyone's faces...

Avian's pulse sped up as the two approached. This is exactly what she didn't want! When the scary boy looked up at her, she sank deeper into the murder, hoping they'd protect her. But the strange boy lifted his hand and sent a strange wave through her and her birds. Her little companions were driven from her side by the wave and into the sky, leaving only a few still with her. She gasped, her cerulean eyes widening in fear. They could see her plainly now! Looking for her little guardians, she turned and watched the murder fly off. Like her teachers had taught her, she tried to will the birds to come back but it was no use. They were disappearing into the horizon, cawing and squawking as they went. Avian still hadn't learned to harness her powers.
Carefully, she turned back to the boy, her one, visible eye peeking out from under her sun hat.
*Please just pass by. Please not notice me!* She hoped. Yet she knew all too well that she now stuck out like a sore thumb, her white hair contrasting the few ebony birds that remained around her.

As she stayed behind Lestat for comfort and safety. Looking up at the tree, even thigh she knew he would protect her, she still had the fear that one of them would come up behind her, or form one of her sides and attack her. Thinking of that, it made her jump a bit at the thought of that. As he uses his power on the tree, a rush of excitement and curiosity rushed by her. Would there be birds? Or something else? Looking at the tree, she cowarded back a bit at the sight of a lot of black birds. After they had mostly gone, she could she something else.
