Just a 'little' fight

October's eyes narrowed. She looked at the spikes and sighed. Even if she had become more powerful recently, she was still just a little kid and couldn't exactly come up with strategies. She was about to do something, but Adelina just couldn't bear it anymore.

"Could you two just STOP IT?!" she yelled. She didn't want to see her little sister in harm's way. Never in a million years did she want anything bad to happen to her. "Just let her fight me and get it over with! I don't want her hurt!" She turned to Jira, biting her lip.

October took the insult, but said nothing about it. Instead, she looked over Adelina's shoulder and her smirk widened. Even if her little partner was a long way away, she was coming. Now that Jira was out of this, it would be a lot easier to defeat the seventeen-year-old. Or, if he joined again, at least it would be a fair amount of people.

Alexiel walked closer, confident in her new abilities. Sidaj had seemed genuinely concerned in her problems. She doubted the woman would lie to her. It just went to show how easily she could be tricked into things still — then again, she had been desperate for some way for Jira to notice her.

Once she killed Adelina, he would notice her. She was certain of that.

"Adelina is busy right now, Im sure I can entertain you."

She wasn't entirely sure how to react, so she kept an impassive face. "I'm sure you could," she said, "but I'm after that girl. Now kindly get out of the way, Jira." Alexiel knew he wouldn't, though. It seemed that, once his mind was made up, it was made up.

Knowing this, Alexiel pulled out one of her fans, looking at him. She waited, not going to be the one to make the first move.

The fifteen-year-old sighed inwardly as he charged at her. It seemed that this couldn't be avoided. Alexiel pulled out her second fan, getting ready to fight him. She didn't want to, to be honest. She cared about him, why would she want to cause him harm? Besides, her problem was with that girl, not Jira.

"As you wish..." she said quietly, side-stepping the charge. She hoped she wouldn't have to use her powers for this. That definitely wouldn't be a pretty sight.

Alexiel lifted one of her fans, blocking the blade. It was definitely useful that they weren't paper. Her fans were completely efficient weapons when it all came down to it. The fifteen-year-old aimed her second fan for his shoulder, trying not to hit him in any place major.
