Zola
Zola is an 18-year-old senior who is new to the island. She isn't a huge fan of having powers, which may or may not change as she develops (grows). She is an artist and rather accepting of other people. (It's only herself being 'special' that she has an issue with.) She is a supporter of the underdog, willing to run into burning buildings to save people, and tends to be rather feisty.

Friends: Zola is extremely loyal and friendly. She is caring and compassionate and sees the good in everyone. Looking for friends for her.
Love: It seems as though any relationship Zola gets into happens to be with a guy who could be considered trouble. She foolishly turns a blind eye to their faults. She wants to be loved and wants to love, like something out of a fairytale/romance novel. She isn't technically looking, but this is because she is so new to the area, that doesn't mean something could or couldn't happen. She does prefer men who are a bit older than her as well. Looking for a potential boyfriend.
Enemies: I am not actively looking for Enemies for Zola, however, I have no problem with such a thing developing organically. It keeps things interesting. She doesn't like bullies and liars so that could put anyone on her 'I can't stand you' list.
Other: Zola is dyslexic, so while she isn't a bad student, she does struggle with book learning and writing. She also is a talented young painter who gets inspired by those around her. Her mother was the one who spilled the beans about Zola's Pyrokinesis when Zola was brought to the island, her mother stayed behind. She could use a parental figure of some kind, as well as a tutor (or a few), and it would be amusing to write her chasing after someone to get their permission to paint them.
