Jogging for no reason

Aseri pulled open the door to the gym, and walked into the gym. She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh, unsure of why she had come here. Well, she thought, might as well do something while I'm here...

She rolled her eyes once again, and fixed the bow of her dress so it wasn't dragging on the floor. She began jogging around the gym, looking all around her and not keeping her gaze in one place for too long.

Stephen entered the gym and looked around. He didn't recognize anyone in there, so he decided to run laps. As he started to jog he noticed another girl running infront of him. Maybe I should join her. He thought nervously. His long strides brought him next to her quickly, and he gave her a nervous smile, saying, 'Hi. Mind if I run with you?'

Aseri looked at him for a moment. Where did he come from? she wondered, raising an eye brow. She turned her head away from him and said, "Whatever... sure, I guess..."

After a few moments, she turned back to him, her eyes and face emotionless. "I'm Aseri Hotaru... and you would be?"

'I'm, uh, Stephen.' He looked down embarassed and said, 'I'll go if I'm bugging you too much.' I knew this was a bad idea.

Nicole wandered into the gym slowly, her hand gripping her bag strap. As she looked around, her gaze fell on two runners. wow, she thought, they run fast. She raised her hand and waved politely to them. Nicole then set her bag down by the wall, relieving her shoulder of its heavy cargo.

"Ha!" Aseri said, shaking her head. "No, you're not bothering me at all! You just kinda... came out of no where... sorry. It's nice to meet you."

She looked away again. OH MY GOD! I can't believe I just said any of that.. oh no, I hope I'm not going soft... well... It couldn't hurt to be nice for once... hopefully... she thought. She turned back to Stephen, smiling slightly.

"So... uh... how long have you been here? I just got here about a week ago..." It felt a little odd to be starting a pleasant conversation, but now she kind of had to... she'd just have to do her best to go along with it.

Aseri then looked behind her in time to see a girl wave at them. She waved back, now wishing she hadn't hadn't come here.

As he saw another girl wave at them he thought. Oh god. I knew this was a bad idea.
He sighed and continued running, as awkward as he felt, it was nice to run. Nice to run as a human that is...
Then he realized that Aseri had asked him a question.
'Oh, I've been here for a while.'

Nicole's smile faded a little. Was she wrong to come here? Not wanting to intrude she sat down beside her bag and just watched them run. Well, not just watched them. She also took this time to practice out a new spell. Removing a small seed from her pocket, she closed her fist around it and whispered a few words into her palm. When she opened her hand, it had sprouted and was slowly growing upwards, it roots wrapping about her fingers.

Aike saunters into the gym, hands pocketed, head down, hair flapping against his head with his stride. Seemingly muttering under his breath to himself, he's actually having a conversation with the fire spirits which float slightly infront of him. A conversation that, suprisingly, doesn't involve sarcasm on either end. Obviously not paying attention to his location, he begins walking circles around the jogging track ponderously. Octionally a "No no no..." is followed by a scratching of his chin.

When Nicole spotted the newcomer a shudder ran down her spine. Fire user... her senses pratically screamed. Smirking, she noticed his lack of attention to anything but himself and decided to play a little prank. Slowly, she set down the vine and put her hands palm down on the floor. Whispering various phrases, she is able to summon a root underground and with a spell she commands it to rise directly in front of the fire user. She doubts he will avoid tripping on it, but watches closely just in case.

((severe boredom sets in. no hard feelings ^_^ ))
