A fairly large rock flew in the direction of the dragon, perfect aim towards it's head. That is, if it didn't move. (I leave it to you to decide if the rock hit's it's mark.)
"Oi! Go find something else to eat." came the sturdy voice of the 'thrower'. Mind you, she hadn't thrown it, at least, not physically. She droped a small amount of altitude with her speach, since talking, throwing rocks, and floating was a bit too much for her mind. She promptly shut her mouth, raising to her old height.
She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, gathering more strength. Her eyesight being good, she'd seen the dragon go after the boy from a long distance away, and after jogging, and decided upon flight as a better option.
A few rocks rotated around her body, her short black, red streaked hair, flipping about with it. Her eyes were dark with anger, as well as heavy with focus. She remained perfectly still and silent, focusing on the movements of the dragon, as well as her remaining in position.
As much as she wanted to land for a breather, deep instinct told her that being mobile on land was not a brilliant thing to do around a dragon. Her attention beginning to waver, her mind tired, it decided for her that landing was a good thing, and so she moved quickly, setting down beside the boy, allowing the rocks that had been rotating her to fall to the ground as she drew another deep breath, allowing her wavering strength to return.
