Itsy Bitys Spider and Iggy Biggy Spider

The apothecary. That's where Chloe and AMber would be. There had been a note on the kitchen counter saying so. Malara was out, and Dalia and Phaedra were with friends, leaving Pandora alone. Despite enjoying a little privacy, she had never done well on her own. In fact being alone was her worst fear. So when she had awoken from her nap to find the house completely empty she had decided to find Chloe and Amber and spend the day with them.

AFter getting dressed she proceeded outside following the easiest route she knew to get to the apothecary. It was still strange for her to walk down the street and not have people take off running. She had become so used to it, that now when people seemed unimpressed by her it almost made her sad. Still, she enjoyed her life now, and she would just have to get used to the idea that she didn't inspire terror in everyone she met.

Before long, she arrived on the street with the Apothecary. Ahead of her, she spotted amber, and with her... Pan Forze. She wasn't sure what she was seeing, or rather who. BEside Amber was another spider. Much larger than her daughter, and in truth much larger than herself. They were both entering the Apothecary together. As the door closed behind the pair, Pandora rushed to the front of the building and tried to peer in through the windows. Her heart was racing. In her experience, larger bugs were never a good thing. and in nature, larger spiders often ate smaller ones. She needed to get to the bottom of this, to find out who this person was. What their intentions were, and if her daughter was in any form of peril.

She had intended to open the door and demand answers when suddenly a thought occurred to her. This could be family. He could be a brother, or cousin, or even a son. There was no way to tell without asking. She wondered as well if a family member would prove more dangerous for whatever reason.

Without another thought, she opened the door and followed in behind the spiders. Oh, what could the poor shop keeper be thinking now that three large spiders had entered the building.

"Amber... Oh... WHo is your um... friend?" She asked trying to sound casual.

Chloe was taking Valli's advice. It would probably make her feel a lot better to put together some countermeasures against her father interfering with her life. Today she had an appointment with the apothecary to discuss the options available here. The apothecary said she could whip up a potion which would give her more control over her dreams. Lucid dreams every time, and more ability to fight against any sort of dream-harassment.

It was expensive, but Chloe was tired of being afraid. She dug into her savings account, and the apothecary started whipping up a batch. She was waiting for this to be done, just idly shopping around when she thought she heard Amber by the front. As she got closer, she saw more than just her daughter.

Pandora was there too. But there was an even bigger spider-person. A man. Pandora was already in the middle of asking who this man was, so Chloe didn't have to. She just stood there, staring at him. "Well... hello. I'm still waiting for the potion to get made, actually. Uh..." Why was Pandora here? Why was she also so confused about the spider man?

The cashier looked at the giant spiders for a moment, then shrugged and went back to scanning items.

"They are the 'light' Elves, the Race is called the 'Dark' Elves by the surface dwellers. Though the Light and Dark elves are kin, we despise each other's culture. Many conflicts were started by the Light Elves to 'cleanse' the world of The Race's 'corruption' from the world..." Drex was about to continue but the little one spoke and apparantly they were now next to their destination. This cause the larger spider demon to begin to sweat on his upper body. Here he would die, he just knew it. Though as Amber walked into the Apothacary he heard the sounds of multiple chitinous legs coming closer.

turning his head he saw a larger divine Matriarch then the small one that escorted him here. As soon as he saw this larger one his body began to move automatically. He took off his helmet and lowered his body until he was shorter than this other Spider Demon. "This one is simply Drex Di'Ardun, Matriarch. I await and serve my lady. How can this humble soldier serve..."

As he finished he lowered his head and put his hands on his formost legs and lowered himself further. "I must apologize for my actions my lady. As I was walking the streets of this.... city. I came to bar the way of the Young Matriarch during her day. It was a grave mistake upon the honor of The Race for me to do so. Please, to cleanse the honor of the Matriarchy I offer up my life."

Pandora was taken aback by the sudden display of respect and servitude. This was not something she had ever experienced outside of the realm of hell. It was shocking, and confusing for the spider. For the longest moment, she stood with her mouth open, unable to speak or think of what to do. What did one do in these situations? In the past she had ignored most of those who submitted like this, seeing them as below herself. Either that or she would sleep with or eat them. Neither of the latter options was appropriate, however, and ignoring wasn't the right answer.

She looked to Amber for a moment, as if expecting some explanation. She had thought he was no harm, and he had come from a place full of spiders. On one hand that was concerning, on the other, fascinating, and in the middle Pandora could not decide what to do. O-oh... Is that so?" She stammered to Amber, as her eyes fell on the humbled spider before her again.

"Drex.... That is your name yes? You uh... Have wonderful manners. Granted you have no reason to serve me or present yourself in such a manner. I mean. You clearly don't know who I am." She continued to watch him, unsure of what else to say. In a way, she almost felt bad for him. "First thing though.. You should stand up again. That's a good start." She was not keen on a larger spider standing above her, but she knew that that would draw less attention to them, than his current behavior.

"I am Pandora. Future Queen of the Seven Hells. And this is my daughter Amber. She introduced holding out to a hand to Drex.

Chloe took this opportunity to walk further out, waving a little, to make sure the larger spiders noticed her. "And, um, nice to meet you, Drex. I'm Amber's other mom and... one of Pandora's partners." She gave Pandora a bemused smirk. "Let's go with that." She still didn't know why Drex or Pandora was here, and Drex's explanation gave her more questions than answers.

"I didn't forget anything, but... well, I would love to see your notes, Amber. That was good thinking! I'm really curious about this too." She would walk over to collect the notes from Amber, and would offer a hand to Drex before starting to look the notes over.

Drex's degree of submissiveness seemed to suggest he wasn't a threat. So, that was nice. And Amber seemed very excited about the prospect of meeting more spider-people, which was relatable. Chloe had spent much of her first months at Starlight Academy tracking down demons and books about them - she had never met any others before. She had wanted to know more; her curiosity lit a fire under her. She saw a bit of her younger self in Amber, looking over these notes.

While Drex was on his knees he listened to Amber explain to her mother and the other female that he posed no threat and was her friend. Though her laughing made him worry that she was joking and that her mother would pounce on him and kill him soon. However a ray of hope shot through his heart when this Pandora told him to stand, at first he was reluctant but his body moved on command from the female Arachne Demon. Drex was still a little stunned when he was standing once more but hunching in on himself to make himself seem smaller as to not be larger than Pandora.

When the other woman came up to him explaining that she was Amber's other mom... which confused Drex slightly as he knew that the Matriarchy did their own thing no matter who else knew about it. But he had never heard of two females being able to make children. What would the purpose be for males other then for numbers in the case of defending the city if females could do this... it was certainly complicated. When the Woman raised her hand towards him he looked at her confused.

Turning back to Pandora however he proceeded to answer her questions. "My name is Drex Di'Ardun, As my fathers before me. Though I do not know you personally Matriarch Pandora I am obligated to serve the Matriarchy where ever or when ever they ask." His gaze turned to Amber for a moment before looking back at Pandora. "No matter how young or small."
