Donny took a deep breath and looked around the back room of his shop. Everything was now set up just as he wanted it. The shop was closed for the day as it was his daughter, Alice's birthday. He had rearranged the room so that you could barely even tell it was effectively a workshop and effectively converted it into a party room almost overnight. It was arguably one of his most daunting tasks yet since Alice was rather inquisitive. Although it wasn't the party so much as the presents he had waiting for her that he was concerned about her discovering. He could easily pass off the Greatsword he'd forged for her as a custom order for a client. The Demonization chamber on the other hand was a bit more tricky. He'd always had the thing in the basement, however he hadn't taken time to maintain the thing since it wasn't exactly a good idea for everyone to hop into it.
Alice was a prime candidate though. She was undead and still had her mind and the ability to reason. She was essentially a normal child at the end of the day. She was also young meaning that she would have time to really grow used to her new demonic form before reaching adulthood. Her shot immune system and near constant sickness was ultimately the deciding factor for him. If she were to successfully become a demon that problem would be solved along with giving her a generous increase in her strength as well. Thereby making it a more ideal option.
Donny went to the upstairs section of the shop, his personal living space to check up on his daughter. And fix her something light to eat. He'd made a point of setting up a relatively effective glamour charm to make the workshop still appear as it always did. She might be perceptive enough to see through the ruse, he was teaching her all the tricks he knew after all. He scratched their pet Kangaroo behind the ears as he prepared a plate for her as well. It was going to be a good day.
