When the creature tried to prop itself up Kahi trilled angrily and nudged for it to lie back down. The creature was in no condition to try and move, it needed to stay still and rest up. Sadly Kahi couldn't exactly say all of this to it, so she made do with looking at the creature sternly while raising a claw and trying to motion "Stay still".
Corvian and Kahi were thinking of the same thing, what to do now. Kahi couldn't leave this creature here, and Kahi couldn't help it any further. If it were the case with her own kind she would give them to a healer, a human one or one of her own kind's. But Kahi was no healer, she was a hunter and a fighter. Maybe this island had healers somewhere, but Kahi wasn't the right one to look for them. She had barely scouted the forest.
Perhaps...
Kahi flew over to where the creature's face was and landed on her back feet, beginning to pantomime the words "I...go...find...someone". Because that was the best way to help this creature. Bring it to someone of it's own kind.
