It was nice to know that today was going to be a mellow day. D'Emerius wouldn't have to worry about tons of customers coming in and messing up his store. While he loved the business that he had build for himself, as well as the people he had working for him; he wanted a day where he could just chill. Today though, Erius was in a pair of boarding shorts, laying his lower half in the water, that would occasionally go up to his chest when the tide came in. His shades were on, which indicated that he was really relaxed. His hands were behind his head as he moved his head from side to side, playing with the glare of the sun.

Even with all this relaxation, he should have been a bit more formal. His rather high and mighty looking 'friend' was paying him a visit, which meant that he should have been greeting him with proper clothes on, but it wasn't like his world revolved around the uptight man. Rafe was a nice guy though, and his looks didn't make it bad when he accidentally stared at him for a bit too long. The man wiggled his toes, feeling the warmth of the water engulf his feet. This was way more important than his oh so loving Rafe right now.

Raphame didn't always wear his armor, in fact, while he visited his old friend, Erius, he rarely did. Most of that had to do with the water. Rust was not fun. So instead, Rafe wore only his undersuit when he entered Erius' shop and wadded through the water. He wasn't nearly as casually inclined as the other Dragon, but there was nothing wrong with that.

Raphame had been in Manta Carlos long enough to settle down in his routine, but it was still hard for him to relax. That was what Aricia told him all the time. He needed to rest. But when was their time for relaxation when one always had to watch their back? When they had to watch the back of the people around them? It was tiring, but Raphame wouldn't complain because he genuinely loved his work.

Of course, Rafe also appreciated softer moments like these. They were rare. He had known Erius since his first week on the island, and they'd hit it off pretty well. Raphame didn't always speak to his friend, but when they did it was good fun.

He sat across from Erius, and his face broke out into a grin. "Enjoying yourself? You barely noticed me walking up."

When he finally heard Rafe, the chilled man only turned his head and smiled to him. "Nothing else to do on'a beauty day like this." The dragon leaned up and eyed him thoroughly before he relaxed back into his first position. "Then again, you can be rather sneaky like when you want to be, mostly as your employment requires you to be." He chewed his lip like he would a toothpick, before his mouth make a prominent smacking sound.

"Surprised to see your armour is off there, though I doubt you'd want to come and see me with your fancy layers on ya." It didn't take a short smart person to realize that metal -or whatever type of high class material he used- and water does not mix very well. "Welp." He echoed out as he stood. A very subtle grunt came out of him; his body was stiff after staying in the same position for so long. "Were you hoping to go swimming with me friend?" He teased at the word.

Erius was exactly the kind of person one wouldn't imagine could be a Dragon, least of all a royal one. He was relaxed to a fault, spoke without a care for the things he said or the people he offended, and had no interest in appearances or what was socially acceptable. Rafe should have disliked him, avoided him, but Raphame didn't and couldn't. Despite everything, Rafe quite liked Erius.

Spending a day once in awhile with D'Emerius was liberating. Rafe didn't let himself slack off much; he had to stay in a role and slacking off meant the slightest chance of doing so in front of Alaric. Which was an accident he couldn't afford. But he did enjoy these moments, as much as he rarely said so to his dear friend.

"Rust is a terrible thing," Rafe answered to the half-accusation. He'd have said rust is a bitch, but, there was no need. Maybe the humor in his smile would give it away.

Ah, the jests. To be fair, Raphame and Erius were a little more than friends. Rafe might not have gone as far as to say they were dating, but it was more than sex. It was lighthearted chatter and comfort, too.

"Is that even in question? What else would I do with you if not swim?" His grin widened a hint. Suggestive, just only.

"I, that armor of yours sure rusts easy. Wouldn't want that for your ladies and lads back at your fancy house." There was no meanness in his words, but rather as if every statement was a slight tease. "Even though that 'mor really shows off your features." Yes, Rafe's body alone was enough to make anyone want him. That didn't even could for the fact that he was nice, noble and honorable. Plus that hair, how could people not want to be with someone that had that hair? Of course, Erius couldn't resist it. Thankfully, he didn't have to.

"Good." A bit too amused by his earlier statement, as he loved to pay around with how much teasing Rafe could handle. The water dragon stood, eyed the blood dragon up and down rather quickly, before a sly smile crossed him. Taking a very confident step forward, he planted a kiss on his left cheek, before almost going in for his lips. "Bet ya can't beat me." With that, he turned and sprinted chest deep into the cool liquid.
