It's good to see me, Isn't it!?

Vannie pulled her hand away and rubbed her arm. She hadn't exactly expected Abigail to kiss her hand, after all, who could expect commoners to do so? But she HAD expected her to just take it and give it a gentle, quick pump, not shake it like it was an old towel.

"Yes, yes I am." She turned and gave her cousin a skeptical look. What kind of headmistress didn't keep track of her own (richest!) students?

"I believe everything is in order, yes? You have reserved a special room for my nanny, if I recall correctly. It is near my room, isn't it?" Vannie asked coolly, eyeing Abigail's odd clothing choices.

Abigail blinked. "I don't recall anything about a 'nanny'..." she said. "You won't need one anyway, we have plenty of staff here." She offered a smile, hoping that the inconvenience would be understood.

Shiloh narrowed his eyes. No room for Nanny? Well he would have to get to the bottom of this.

Vannie's jaw dropped. She closed it quickly. Clearing her throat, she raised an eyebrow. "Miss Narissara, this is an outrage. My nanny has been with me since I was born. I need her. Who else is going to keep my clothes cleaned and pressed, and who else is going to take care of Poodlekins? It is not a want, it is a necessity." She put her hands on her hips and looked Abigail in the eye.

Abigail sighed inwardly. Another spoiled brat, it seemed. She looked Vanessa in the eye as well, her own purple orbs narrowing. "You can clean your own clothes and you can take care of whoever this 'Poodlekins' is," she said, a tinge of anger to her voice.

Shiloh gulped, taking a slight step back in fear. Women were never pretty when they got angry.

Vanessa's eyes narrowed back. "My father, Jonathan Belmont Lancaster the THIRD will NOT be happy to hear about this!" She exclaimed. Her cheeks were starting to turn rosy from anger. NOBODY told Vanessa Elizabeth Kenzington Lancaster no.

Vannie glanced at Shiloh. She turned back to the headmistress. "How old ARE you?" She paused for a slight moment. "Never mind. I don't want to know." She turned on her heel. "Come along, Shiloh, dear." Glancing back over her shoulder, she gave Abigail an ice-cold look. "You'll be hearing from my lawyer."

She waited for Shiloh before walking down the hall. "Really, I don't know how you've managed here, Shiloh. You're a saint. Really! To put up with people like her!"

Abigail snorted when told she would be hearing from Vanessa's lawyer. 'Will I, now?" she questioned. "It'll be nice to see what kind of law I broke." The woman rolled her eyes, sighing. Some children were just beyond hope.

Shiloh followed Vanessa into the hall, shrugging. "You must remember, Vannie dear, that they're less fortunate than us," he said. "They're commoners, they don't know luxury. So it's our job to be understanding. Maybe Nanny can just room with you instead of having a separate room." The young man then got an idea. "Or you all can move into my room!"

Vannie brightened considerably. She squealed and threw her arms around Shiloh's neck. Then she remembered herself and stepped away. "Oh, Shiloh! That would be so much fun! Is there enough room, though?" She asked. "I can move into your room, and Nanny can stay in mine."

Shiloh grinned. "Of course there's enough room," he said. "I knocked the wall between my room and the next room down, so I basically have a two room space." He stuck his tongue out, since he was kind of bragging at the moment. "We should go shopping and gossip tonight.... just to catch up on things. And, by the way, you need to meet my girlfriend!"
