Ahh the outside. Lucy liked it, but would rather be in her empty, dark room. She liked to be able to think, to work things out in her mind. Lucy thought that as an alternative, she could go outside and do the same thing that she did in her room. To think. She wasn't always a people person, and usually didn't enjoy when energetic people wanted to make her acquaintance. She walked around, finally laying her blue eyes on a bench.

Lucy decided that she was going to just relax for a while which was usually what she did when she was outside. To block everyone out unless they looked interesting. More so people that she found attractive, or interesting in the way she liked. Not the goody too shoes that she had come to know. She sat down easily, making sure her black jacket with hints of gray was still covering her. She re-did her hair and closed her eyes, putting a small smile on her face for anyone who would be interested to look at her. She let the interesting people come to her, if she is given the choice.

The park had been a mistake. A stupid one.

Angelo knew this now, as he stormed into the school courtyard with fast steps, muttering to himself. Of course the idiotic brats at the park couldn't leave him alone when he wanted them to. Of course they had to ask him if he wanted to be part of some stupid snowball fight, which he had responded to as you would expect from that kind of proposition. If the kids couldn't handle a "Fuck off" that wasn't his problem, was it? But noo, instead they had to go get offended and throw a wet goddamn snowball at him as he continued walking. They had bigger problems than being offended now, the blood on the boy's knuckles made that much clear

But of course he couldn't even get satisfaction in that. He had to run like hell before the brats' friends showed up. Because if someone asks for it, it's your responsibility to not hit them, right? Bull. How about telling them to stop asking for a beatdown instead and they won't get one.

It was with these thoughts a truly sour, wet Angelo Rendine once again entered school grounds. His hood was up as usual, but there was a clear wet spot on the top of it with multiple small flakes of snow. Not to mention more of the cold stuff on his shoulders. He walked with broad shoulders, his eyes practically sparking with barely contained rage. He was in a foul mood overall. Who in their right mind would mess with him in this condition?

Lucy was practically zoned out with the things she was thinking off. So many things. She quickly opened her eyes though, as she could hear and feel someone storming towards for direction.

What was it? She tracked her eyes around, wondering what it was. A human? They must he mighty angry. Lucy had been so clam, and this person, or thing, just had to mess it up. She finally found the cause of it and it was a boy. Lucy lessened her mood a bit, relieved that it was human, that he was handsome, even though she couldn't really see his face.

She wanted to tell him that he had woken her up in a way, she really did. She decided though, that she would get up and stare at him. "What is his problem?" Maybe he had just had a bad day, or maybe he was hotheaded like she was. As he got closer, she saw that his hood had been hit with snow. Was he a poor sport? Did he just leave a snowball fight? Lucy snarled a bit, hoping to get his attention. The least she would get was a weird look.

Angelo had planned on stomping up to his room, drying off his clothes and cooling off for the next two hours, but he stopped in his tracks when he noticed that someone was staring at him, which prompted him to stop and glance, no, glare back. Redhead, around his age, maybe a bit older. Pretty good looking, he had to admit, but that didn't say much. The prettier girls usually got stuck up about their appearance and ended up way too confident for their own good as far as he was concerned. Then she snarled. Yeah, she was a bitch. Angelo turned towards her, however.

"Whaddya want?" He spat out, running up one hand over his hood and flicking off snow as he did so. Sure, he was positive that this chick was going to be annoying, but on some level he still wanted to look good when someone looked at him. Vanity? Pride? Being a teenager? Call it whatever you wish.

Wow. Lucy was surprised that this boy had stopped to see what she wanted. What did she want? Maybe just to tell him that he was loud? Or to ask why he was in a pissy mood? He would have just been fine if she just ignored him, but she wasn't that type of person. She was stubborn and hotheaded.

She liked to piss people off. She smiled a bit. "Why are you in a pissy mood mister? Someone get a bit of snow on you?" She mocked. He seemed like the type of guy that wouldn't even tell her, but it was worth a shot. She would rather make an enemy or a friend then to be the girl that sits in the corner, alone all day. Even though she already did that, this was what she loved.

Angelo furrowed his eyebrows and dug his hands into his pockets. Yeah, of course she had to push him on that. Not like she could take a moment to think on her own and figure out what happened, right? It was winter, it was a high school area, it didn't take a goddamn genius to figure out that he had been snowballed. Which wasn't "getting a little snow on him" for the record, it was a fucking pain. Was cold and melting and running down his back. He didn't need some cocky chick mocking him for it. Who did she even think she was?

His result was what to be expected. A low "None of your goddamn business", growled through the teen's teeth. This bitch was making fun of him, you could tell that from a mile away and he wasn't just going to lie down and take that. He may be many things but Angelo Rendine has never and will never be someone's doormat. Least of all some redhead who thinks she can just smile and act as if she has no idea about what she's doing. She knew. And the fact that she was faking being nice about it just made Angelo's already sour mood even worse.

What was Lucy thinking? This dude was fired up. She knew that she wasn't fooling him with the nice act, so she cut the smile. This is when she wished that she had a different power. To knock this guy off his feet just y looking at him or something. Her power did come in handy, and she would use hand to hand combat if it was necessary.

"Fine, don't tell me, not like I care if you have snow down your back or in your hair." She stared at him. What was his problem, he was making her mad, angry, just by looking at him. She wasn't like other girls. She wasn't a bitch, she was just stubborn and liked to get into people's business She wasn't one to sit on the side lines if she didn't have to. She stepped closer to him, looking up. "I do think it is my businesses though, considering that you woke me up." She snarled at him. This was getting fun.

Now what the hell did waking her up have to do with anything in this situation? It wasn't like you were supposed to sleep in the courtyard. If someone walked in and woke you up because you were stupid enough to nap outside, that was your problem, not the guy walking by. Also, this girl really thought Angelo cared about her "worrying" for his snow-covered state? For god's sake give him a break or he was going to break something.

And would she stop with the goddamn snarling already? Who does that? She's a human fucking being, or at least as intelligent as one who knows with Manta Carlos, but she was making animal noises? Sheesh.

"Why the hell would I care if I woke you up?" Angelo growled, looking down at the other girl. He had been in a bad mood already but now? Now his blood was boiling. "This is a public area. If you want to take a nap before dinner head to your room or whatever."

As he spoke, Angelo brought up a hand to dust the snow off his shoulders, taking certain note to use the hand with clear bloodied knuckles from the earlier fight. Mostly to intimidate, show that he was not one to be messed with, but at some level he was also... Showing off? He couldn't help it he just became that way around women.

"I wanted to be social, unlike you. You and your loud feet." She didn't know what to think. She wasn't the best person to make comeback lines, but she did love to say stuff, even if it didn't make sense. She didn't care what he thought really, he was just another douche bag in her way. What was she supposed to do? She could have tripped him, or shouted at him while she had been sitting down.

Maybe that would have been smarter then this. She felt like she wasn't even talking to anyone. She smirked at him, as she raised his hand to let her see his bloodied knuckles. Lucy laughed. It was funny, trying to be intimating. It didn't work on her. He may as well just punch her. At least it would have some effect on her. "Beat up a few kids for throwing snow at you? Or do you just beat up everyone that looks at you?"

Angelo let out a small laugh, smiling just enough to show his teeth. That was quite possibly the most pathetic comeback he had ever heard. Loud feet? Really? That was the best she had? Besides, she was saying against herself with the bullshit about being social, something that he was going to point out right away.

"What, wanted to be social?" He grinned a bit, ice blue eyes locked with the shorter girl's. Hey, he was actually starting to enjoy this. Who knew screaming at some random stranger was so effective for working out frustration? Was actually pretty scary how well it worked. "Hate to break it to you, but sleeping on a bench isn't exactly social."

Then she laughed. An action that, by itself, washed the smile right off Angelo's face. While he did what he could to hide it with his hood, a deep red blush was working its way up his neck. He hated being laughed at. Being ridiculed. There was nothing more frustrating to him than not being taken seriously, not to mention that his attempt to bolster his own pride was shot straight down.

"If someone pisses me off, I kick their teeth in." Angelo muttered in response, eye contact no longer maintained. "What's it to you?" He added, trying to at some level seem "cool" still.
