It did what now?

Travis was meeting up with Jude over at Officer Genovese's house. This wasn't anything out of the ordinary, almost to the point that he practically lived there himself. The rest of the team lived there, but it felt strange just moving in. Or asking to move in, though this older cop version of Jude was pretty cool himself.

He'd really had no plans coming over, just texted Jude that he was on his way, ready or not. Probably watch movies, scream about life... the usual. If they were feeling ballsy, mess with Roa. He came to the door, sending Jude a quick text before ringing the bell.

Oh boy, seemed like Jude was in a mood. About something, about him? Oh no what the hell happened now? Jude was eyeing him up like he'd grown a third arm or something.

"What's up ma- what?"

Travis gave the question some thought before he answered.

"Not really? I mean, they were working like they always did, last time I used em. Why?"

"Hurt me? I mean I can't even remember. It's not like it's the easiest thing to do..."

He was just giving Jude a look, more confusion as he came into the living room and just made himself at home in his usual spot. He gave it some more thought.

"I sparred with Adrastia a few days ago because she has new shit now. Bitch fuckin flies now... it's bullshit. We talked about training more then, but it's not like we really hurt each other. What're you saying?"

He could heal himself? When the hell did that happen? He opened his mouth to ask a question, but Jude was heading to the back yard to test something else. There was more? This was exciting, but holy shit Jude.

"Christ dude, take a breath," he said as he headed outside. "Is it okay to um... do shit like this back here? I don't wanna blow your yard up or something."

"Alright dude, let's see what the fuck this is about..."

Focus his energy to his feet? That was not at all what he was expecting to hear. He trusted Jude though, so he gave it a shot. He built the energy up like he would when he fired his beam. Not a lot though. Just enough to make it noticeable.

Focusing it was different, surprisingly easier than he would have expected. Once it had built he pushed off, definitely going higher than he should have.

"Fuck!" he landed. "Shit, that was lit! Wait, wait..."

He built up more energy and jumped again, higher this time. He came down kind of hard, but not to hard. "Jude, I'm thinking of applications for this. We're doing tests! Then I'm gonna yeet Rory."
