For someone who made his heart feel swollen she sure was sitting far away. Mike barely resisted the urge to move closer to her, to touch her. Instead he sat and listened to what she was saying.

"I hope that she'll be all right staying there." Mike frowned. He had only met Clara briefly but he liked her instantly and any friend of Ora's was a friend of his. Likewise her enemies.

Her confession about not seeing him again shocked Mike. What if she had changed her mind and had just disappeared into the night? He definitely didn't like that thought. "I'm glad you didn't run." He whispered softly.

She smiled in a slightly relieved way. "I'm glad you're glad. I was worried you'd have discovered some other girl." she rubbed her barcode awkwardly, blushing slightly.

She glanced at him nervously. "That is.. you didn't just you know, clothe me and everything because I'm just a friend?" she asked, suddenly feeling slightly self-concious for no apparent reason. She bit her lower lip slightly and looked away.

He patted the space beside him hesitantly, as if his hand was betraying his mind. "I'd discovered some other girl?" He was puzzled for a moment, then when he realized that she was concerned. "I don't know what i can tell you that expresses how wrong you are. You are very, very wrong."

Her sudden confession made him break out in a wide grin and he shifted towards her and lited her chin in his hands, planting a slow kiss on her lips instead of answering.

Ora was startled when he moved closer to her, and even more startled when he kissed her. She breathed in deeply in an inward sigh, and when moved so that she was closer to him, deepening the kiss. Her eyes fluttered shut, and her hands somehow came to rest on his arms.

After a bit, she realized she was running low on air, and pulled back, trying to catch the breath he'd stolen from her. "It's not hard to believe." she said breathlessly, a smile on her face that lit up all of her features.

He chuckled, pulling her into him so that his chin rseted on her head. "What are we going to do Ora? We read each other like closed books." It was a joke but a strained one. This was not going to be an easy relationship. But he was willing to work with it, so long as she was.

"Do I still need to be careful? I don't want any hurt feelings or another episode when I don't get to see you for days and days." He absently stroked her hair, fingers trailing down to lightly touch her barcde.

Ora leaned against him, enjoying the foreign feeling of being cared for. She nuzzled his chest. "I guess we're just going to have to learn to read." she said softly.

She sat up and placed a hand softly on his cheek. "Just be gentle with me. I'm not going to be like a normal girlfriend you know." she kissed the cheek her hand didn't occupy. "I have a lot to learn."

He sighed contentedly, knowing that if he died now he would die happy. It seemed like a spell that would break if he did or said the wrong thing, but this was a pretty weird relationship anyway. He played with her hair, one hand resting on her shoulder.

"You make me happy. But I guess I'm going to have to share you with Clara?" He didn't want to share, it felt like it would be two kids and one cookie. Ora was that cookie. He shook his head with a grin and rested his gaze on her face. "I'll be careful." He murmered, his heart swelling when she called herself his girlfriend. It would take him a while to figure out that this was not a dream, but the real thing. She made him so crazy. One minute he wanted to yell her name from the rooftops and the next he wanted to just stay in his room with her forever, not sharing with a soul.

Ora smiled at him. "Well not for the first little bit. She and I agree that it'd be best if I stay out of the city until things cool down." she smirked devilishly as she wiggled slightly, getting more comfortable against him. "But I have a feeling that things are going to heat up while I'm out of the city." she leaned her head against him innocently.

Then she looked up at him, "Should I be worried about being in your room?" she asked teasingly, moving again to have her face just inches from his, her breath mingling with his.

"That's... good? Bad? I don't know." He grinned, unsure of what things could possibly mean if she hid here. He wasn't going to lie, he loved that she was here. Things just seemed so different now, and for good reasons.

"Do you think you should be worried?" A small laugh escaped his lips when she moved towards him. This was so unreal! He had never in a million years thought that things would be this way. But he knew that sooner or later they'd have to register her, and she'd move into a room that was not his, and was in the girls dorms. He would feel a little uneasy sneaking into her room at night. Almost like he was intruding.

Ora smirked, nuzzling his nose with his. "I think I can take care of myself." she replied, rolling off the bed onto her feet. She moved around til his back was facing her and then snaked her arms around his upper body. "And I trust you."

She moved back to the other side of the bed where she had been and resumed her position beside him. "I was this close," she demonstrated with an inches space between her index finger and thumb, "To finding one of my siblings." she sighed and pouted. "I think that's why they found me. I was getting too close."
