Hey all, I know some of you are aware of what the Masks rpg is but to everyone else it's a roleplaying game where you play as teen superheros. Drama, superpowers, comic book style action. Good stuff.
I've been playing in a game myself and was thinking about branching out and trying to GM one myself. Obviously i'm not a veteran of the system or a god-tier GM like some people we know but if anyone is interested in playing I was hoping to find players here first before looking elsewhere.
I would be looking for 3-4 players
My intention is to have voice through discord and rolls/character sheets through Roll20, with games taking place on every other Tuesday evening. Target start time of around 6 or 7pm EST (3 or 4pm site time) and going for about 3-4 hours depending on how people feel.
If I don't have people able to make it for that time I might consider a more text-based option.
The general theme will adjust to the player characters but it will be more or less in the "vanilla" Halcyon City setting but with the name changed to Olympia and with other elements thrown in as they seem to fit. The tone will be slightly funny (I can't help but make things at least a little comical from time to time) and very much have teen drama going on. I'm not interested in overly dark or edgy storylines and we won't be going into explicit or adult content territory.
If you follow the link I have above you can see a list of the "playbooks", basically character archetypes or toolsets to pick what kind of story you want for the character. Either post here with a (brief, maybe paragraph at most) character concept and make sure to put what playbook you would like, or message me on the side.
Unfortunately I cannot handle more than 3-4 players at this time so I won't be expanding the number. I will not necessarily be going by who replies first
Technically I would be available for session 0 tomorrow evening but it is unlikely unless people jump on this really quick
Playbooks allowed: only the 10 playbooks from the basic set, with The Doomed being pretty iffy
