Kacey look at Ian. "You ok? Have something on your mind?" Kacey asked, he looked as if he was having a conversation with himself. Kacey smiled, wondering what he was so deep in thought about.

Ian was at a loss of what to say. He didn't want to lie and say he didn't. Yet he didn't want to say he did because she would ask what it was and he would ahve to say, because he coulnd't keep it from her. Yet he also didn't want to just not respond because she might think something is wrong. "I want to say something to you." he said beginning very slowly, "But I think if I had said it, responding to it would have been very akward, so I was tryign to decide if I was going to tell you or not." he said still speaking slowly and with a slight hint of guilt.

"No it’s ok. Your choice you can tell me if you want to." Kacey said causally with a shrug. "Hey I think that’s the way out." Kacey said pointing to a path that looked like it led out to the academy.

Ian wondered if the sudden change in setting was going to make her forget about what had just happened, but he doubted it. "What I was going to say is how beautiful I think you look right now." he said, "and that even though we are friends, you couldn't imagine how much you mean to me." he said rather slowly yet happy he had let that out, now he was only worried about how she was going to respond.

Kacey looked at him for a good long moment, what was she going to say to that? Kacey smiled, "You know I feel the same way about you right? And you can tell me anything no matter what." Kacey said, not bothered by what he thought. "And thanks." She added happily.

Ian let out a sigh of relief, having gotten to say what he wanted and not have had a bad response to it. Ian noticed they were now a few feet out of the forbidden. "We made it." said Ian as he turned to Kacey and smiled at her, "Told you we would."

"Ok no I think it was I told that you to. I told you not to panic but you just don’t listen do you." Kacey said joking. She was happy to see the school again. Kacey wasn’t planning to go back in there anytime soon that was for sure.

"Let’s go watch the sunset Ian!" Kacey said dashing off to find the perfect place on the school grounds. "Come on. Come on." Kacey called out to him, and waited for him.

Ian caught up to her and followed her deciding that he didn't care what area of the grounds she chose, he was goign to enjoy it anyway.
