“Thank you kindly,†Francis bowed his head lightly at the older woman behind the counter who personally to him lacked any fashion taste. But the woman didn’t seem to fancy his advice and merely wanted to focus on printing off Guy’s schedule. He felt bad for the woman since she seems so heavily involved in her work that she didn’t even have time to receive a little friendly advice.
The two of them were within the administration office getting Guy settled in and of course that meant him as well. But she didn’t seem to be interested in talking to him just doing her job. It was their very first day at the academy and since he wasn’t told anything about his own room he figured that meant he’d be bunking with Guy.
Which seemed splendid for him since Guy was absolutely fabulous to talk to. He never complained about what he had to say or shun him like other people he didn’t really say much of anything… at all… But that was beside the point! Francis understood when he had a good thing going and Guy was the perfect gal pal he needed to let out all his troubles.
The purple haired man started towards the exit, and began scanning over Guy’s schedule before he paused. “Uh…what is this?†he asked as he turned and made his way back to the desk. “Power classes,†the woman responded plainly. “Yes… but he doesn’t attend ‘power classes’. This must be a mistake.â€Â
Guy remained standing within the room silent as the two of them began politely arguing. He referred to it as such because they were both restraining the real anger that hid deep inside them. His multicolored eyes moved away from them and to the open door leading out into the main hallway.
It was quiet… but that was merely because all of the students were in class.
“Guy is immortal with no other powers. Immortality is passive what training could he possibly obtain inside a power class? None I tell you, none!†Francis told her animatedly.
“Sir all students are required to attend power class unless we are personally requested by a higher authority otherwise.â€Â
“Higher power, it should say on there that Lucy requested this. Oh my goodness I am stressing out... How could this information not be here? Lucy is going to fire me.†He began and gently fanned his face.
“Fire you sir?†The woman asked broadly and was immediately informed again that Francis was Guy’s bodyguard. She however had thought the man was joking… which just caused them to argue even further. But Guy’s attention had left them completely.
Without either of their knowledge he had stepped out of the room and into the hallway. It was long… and relatively clean… but there were too many colors. The long narrow room would have been more appealing to him if it had been bathed in white.
Guy stepped forward and reached out to press his fingers against the wall.
White was perfect for revealing dirt…
Hidden… locked away…dirt…
