Private Finished I'm Feeling Pretty Peeved

After some back and forth, Aisha was able to reach Sprinkles and agree on a meeting spot. After a testy run-in with Zyta, she went down to Sprinkles' new workplace. Filled with caffeine and sugar, she felt twitchier than normal but was otherwise relatively okay. She kept a lower profile than normal, not wanting to run into a certain hunk at the moment. The mermaid waited by the employee area, knowing that her best friend's shift ended and that he would be out soon. She distracted herself with lots of phone browsing as she waited. Trying not to think too hard about the video.

Or about how much she wanted to hurt the culprit. Whoever it was.

Aisha nodded and stood up straight. "Yeah, I'd like that." She would allow the colorful kitty to lead the way. Though before going into the topic, she wanted to ask "How was work today?" for the sake of figuring out his mental state at the moment. Friends were supposed to check up on each other or something, right? It just seemed like the obvious action at this point.

"I'm pretty upset still to be honest. I sort of took it out on Zyta a bit, but I apologized." She sighed. "I'm just so disappointed and angry. I worked really hard, even got you to help me, and now all of that gets destroyed by some awful video. I don't know who did it, but fuck them." The mermaid twisted her mouth. "Not, like, literally 'cause ew, but you know."

Aisha rubbed her temples. "I don't know for sure. Jude asked the same thing and I said maybe Greg, but I don't have any proof or even know for sure." A frown surfaced on her face. "There's a bunch of people that don't like me for what I did when I first came here." Her paranoia made her scan the area for any weirdos or spies. No, there didn't seem to be anyone watching them. Good.

"What am I going to do now? I'm out of the running and everyone's calling me like a slut and whore and taunting me...." She never thought words would hurt much, but damn. She was turning out to be wrong. It brought her the kind of misery she used to bring to others. Some would even consider it karmic justice, but she just found it painful.

"I'm surprised too....but I guess it's everyone's chance to make fun of the mean girl." Aisha rubbed her arm. "The police? What exactly do I say to the police?" She wasn't completely versed on the island's laws. Just enough to realize her underaged drinking was bad and what were crimes here, but not enough to process that the video would be a criminal offense for some of its content. Hopefully people wouldn't keep targeting her though. ...hopefully.
