Aaron watched the race, intrigued by the idea of space races. He'd considered renting or even buying a ship just to experience it himself. Soon enough the race ended,he'd lost his bet, bit he hadn't bet very much. The half demon would make his way to booths, paying out what he owed.

He was about to leave when he noticed a cute girl a little further down. He could tell by her facial expression that she'd lost, maybe badly. Chuckling he'd turn to one of the employees, paying the girl's bill, no matter how much it was.

Turning he'd turn to leave humming a hit, not noticing an employee pointing him out to the girl. Then he felt someone grab his arm, he'd turn to see the girl. "Hello?" he'd say, tilting his head. @Big Jeffe

Cleo

Cleo had had a good run betting on ASTRAL races, at least so far. Alyx and his crew were always her safety valve, but from time to time she'd better on lesser known team who she thought had a chance to pay out big, like today. She'd placed a fairly large amount of Oz's, and her own money, on a team who had been on the cusp of winning, but who could never quite pull it together.

Cleo had hoped that this race would be a change of fortunes, and in a large part is was. They had shot out to an early lead and could seemingly cruise to victory. Until their engines blew up, taking them out of the race. Losing them the race, and Cleo's money to boot.

While she had no intention of actually paying up, 'she didn't really know what else to do. Until, she learned that her bet had already been covered. "What?" She asked, both surprised and confused. "By who?" She asked, before being pointed towards Aaron, someone she was fairly certain she'd seen around the school a few times.

Walking over to him she cleared her throat, and when that failed to get his attention, she gave a small tug on his arm. "Excuse me." She asked. "Did.. You didn't happen to cover my bet did you?"

He'd smile. "I did indeed," his tail would sway a little. "You seemed mildly upset by the loss," he'd shrug, "so I paid you out." It wasn't a big thing to him, a random act of kindness.

Aaron's tail would go up and scratch the back of his head. "Anyways, I'm Aaron Erebus," he'd say with a grin, offering her hand to shake.

"You come up here often?" he'd ask curiously, motioning to the betting area. "Like testing you're luck?"

Cleo

Cleo blinked. "Thank you. Truth be told, I had no intention of actually paying for that bet." She said with a small chuckle, before glancing up to a screen that showed then finishing order. "I should have just gone with Alyx.." She muttered under her breath.

"Cleo." she said taking a moment to shake his hand. "Wait, Erebus? As in the vampire family?" She didn't know much about Aaron's family, outside of them being a very wealthy family of vampire.

She frowned a little when Aaron asked if she came up to bet often. "Mmm.. Mostly on the races, but I do enjoy a good game of poker every now and then. Though Blackjack is my personal forte." She said with a grin. "And for the record, I always win more than I lose. Mostly."

"Not actually paying?" he'd chuckle. "My, my, you do get into trouble," he'd say playfully. "Alyx?" he'd ask, tilting his head, his enhanced hearing having picked it up, "that was one of the racers right?"

He'd nod. "Yes, the vampire family," his family was well known for being wealthy and influential. "Oh you mostly win?" he'd grin, "and what happens when you don't?" He said this all with a playful tone.

The demonic vampire would glance back at the booth, another race about to start. "So, you could try your luck at the race again?" he'd say with a grin, "or....a better option...you can join me for lunch."

Cleo nodded. "Yes. His team is actually based out of this very station. At least, I think they are." She said, looking around.

She blinked when Aaron confirmed who his family was. No wonder he'd been so willing to cover her bet, that was probably pocket change to someone like him. "Well..." Cleo said, before shifting to a mirror image of Aaron and smirking. "Normally I find a new look and slip out. Though it can be annoying to remember which faces I've used where."

Shifting back to her more common look, she nearly got dollar signs in her eyes when Aaron asked her out to lunch. "Even if I won, the pay out wouldn't be that good. The main event is where the real money is." She answered. "Lunch would be terrific. Any place in mind?"

The demonic vampire would smirk when she shifted. "My, my, you are mischievous and full of surprises," Aaron would shift into their female form, "well so am I, it makes things fun."

She'd lead her out of the gambling area. "Well....there's this excellent restaurant that has food from the different worlds," she'd giggle, "and it's less touristy than some of the places here."

Aaron would offer the other girl her arm. "So why don't you tell me a bit about yourself Cleo?" she'd ask, tilting her head. "Besides gambling what do you like to do?"

Cleo

Cleo frowned slightly when Aaron shifted. "Aww, you look cuter as a boy." She said with a small chuckle, before following Aaron's lead out of the gambling area.

She'd raise an eyebrow as they walked. "You certainly seem to know your way around here. Come up often?" Cleo asked. She really only came up to the Space Station to bet on ASTRAL races, preferring what was on the island when it came to just about everything. "Lead the way."

She'd think for a moment when asked what she liked to do. "I work as a accountant at the House Of Volkov. Other than that, I do enjoy going clubbing from time to time."

"I'll have you know that I'm always cute," she'd say with a smirk, "plus I have amazing hips while like this." She'd say all this with a small chuckle.

She'd nod. "I don't need sleep, so I have a lot of extra time," she'd grin, "I explore, look at everything." She'd tilt her head, "not getting tired means I can accomplish more than most in a day."

"Oh? I'd heard of the House of Volkov, hadn't been there though," he'd grin, "clubbing however, now that's something I'm very knowledgeable about." They'd arrive at the restaurant, entering the vampiric demon would find themselves a seat. "Order whatever you want hon, all on me."

Cleo

Cleo just rolled her eyes and laughed when Aaron swayed her hips. "You wouldn't be willing to bet on that, would you?" She asked jokingly.

She tilted her head when Aaron said they'd never been to House Of Volkov. "Not surprising, I'll have to show you around sometime. The Wolfsbane too." She said, following Aaron into the restaurant, and taking a seat across from them.

She'd look over the menu for a moment before setting it down. "Well, you're the expert here. What do you recommend? And please don't try to get me to eat space slugs."
