Vincenzo didn’t go back on his promises!
He never forgot. He never forgave. Ha, that was actually misleading – saying he would forgive something he wasn’t even mad about in the first place. No, he wasn’t mad at William for goring him and murdering him in an alley. In fact, he was ecstatic about it. He’d only seen the man in passing at the library, and he never took an interest in him past asking where certain books were. Finding out he was a cannibal zombie fuck was a pleasant surprise.
And yes, his name was William. He always did his research, like a proper stalker. He’d sent him a cute little Valentine’s Day gift, though he didn’t bother doing anything during that long stretch of time. He had different arrangements, other things to worry about. But now that his schedule had free time again, he was more than excited to visit him at work for the first time.
He even brought him a gift. It was a box, and inside were little chopped up human parts, a few fingers here, a few eyeballs there. They were all cleanly wrapped in ziplocks. Didn’t even smell too bad to be noticed.
He walked up to William, casual as ever, and gave him a lovely smile. “Hi! It’s good to see you again. I did give a notice a few months back,” he said, casual as ever despite the horrifying things that happened between them. He presented the gift. “It’s for you. Water under the bridge?”
