And as if they were some kind of a prediction, his thoughts from the day William spent the night in his room, the ones about getting a roommate and how much he would loath, came true. He got the notice this morning through the Administration Office, saying that the other boy's room was temporary unlivable for some reason, and that he was the only college aged student that didn't have a roommate at this moment, damn his luck. So, he was getting one now, whether he wanted it or not, and he really, did not, only he didn't have any say in it. Well, he could always move in with William while the other person got his room all to himself. Wouldn't they like that.

He sighed, getting tired of fretting all by himself, his feathers all ruffled because of his irritated state of mind. He had them out right now because he couldn't find the pendant in the mess that was his room being in the middle of procesS of getting cleaned because of his roommate. Well, the faster the other boy got to know his power the better. He only hoped he would get someone at least half resonable who wouldn't mind him staying up all night, staring at the stars. Some people got unnerved by that, as he had learned the hard way.

Gabe lugged the last of his things out of his room, he didn't have all that many things if he was honest. He had about three black bags worth of things but considering that was the entire contents of his room, it really wasn't a lot. He hoped that he'd be able bring it back here soon but of current his room looked as if it would be uninhabitable for a good while.

Gabe had considered begging William to move in with him when he found out that his new roommate would indeed be, none other than, Michael Griffin. Of all people, it was just his luck he'd get stuck with one of the few people he didn't get on with in Starlight Academy.

Trying to remain positive, Gabe decided he would be civil towards Michael. After all , Bill liked him, how horrible could he be?

<div align=center>William stumbled a little, the boy was weak, he wasn't designed for carrying things. He whimpered a little, and pushed himself against Gabe, mumbling something about it being heavy. This had all happened in a very strange way, and the same way that William's arms were now more or less completely bandaged up, he wasn't cross with Gabe though, no matter how many times he'd been told that he should be, poor Gabe felt terrible about it and William didn't want him to. The boy sighed, and glanced up at him, "my arms hurt." He whined, though it wasn't clear if he was talking about the burns or the fact that his muscles were aching.

He had no idea where they were going, he had merely been following Gabe and chatting idly to him, he hadn't payed attention at all, he'd more or less just been complaining about having to carry things the whole time, mixed with little compliments and whatever else came to his mind, which was usually things that had absolutely no relevance whatsoever to the conversation, it happened a lot, but William was pretty sure Gabe was more or less used to it by now, he would just nod and smile whenever he said something out of context. "You have a lot of things... How come it got so out of control you broke everything?"</div>

He looked at the clock, half nervous, half ready to bolt, seeing as it showed that it was half past ten, which was about the time, his new roomate was to come. He wondered if he could do just that, simply leave, and... Well, not never came back, he might not need a place to sleep, but a place to study, preferably warm, yeah, that was a completely other matter. His laptop was also here, and on it all of his music, the books he read now hidden under the bed. The room was much cleaner that an hour ago, the other bed made and waiting for his new owner, his pendant now tied around his wrist. He did not want to put it around his neck, wearing it as a bracelet instead. It was still enough, his wings hidden beneath his skin, but he could still feel his feathers ruffled, much like the cat's bristled when the animal was nervous, which he was now. Thus the thinking in long, never ending sentences. He sighed, looking at the clock again. Still half past ten. Any minute now.

"Careful, there, Bill," Gabe laughed softly, he was used to William's unfortunate clumsiness, "we don't want you hurting yourself now do we?" Gabe poked his head around from the side of the bag that he was carrying and shot a grin at Bill. "I'm sorry, you can stop if you like." Gabe told him, "I'm okay doing it by myself, I just need you to talk to me, keep my company." Gabe would probably get it done faster on his own anyway, Bill wasn't strong and only got in the way with his clumsiness but he was trying his best and his dignity would probably stop Bill from admitting he wasn't all that great at this.

"You haven't heard my new roomate is have you?" Gabe asked with half a grin. He thought that if William had then he would have mentioned so to Gabe. "You're in for a big surprise." One that'd affect Gabe a lot more than it'd affect William.

<div align=center> William frowned, "I can do it!" He demanded, though he passed everything he was holding to Gabe a moment later, frowning and mumbling that he didn't want to drop it. He hoped this arrangement wouldn't be for too long, Gabe living with someone else for a bit meant they would get more or less zero privacy. He supposed he'd have to bring him over to his own dorm instead, but Micheal was usually there, and well, it was awkward asking him to stay away, especially, for well, those reasons. Then again he was just a tad concerned that Gabe would lose control of himself again, he didn't want to have to move in with another student because Gabe broke his bedroom.

He frowned, he hadn't heard who Gabe's temporary room mate was, Gabriel hadn't told him. Gabriel could have maybe stayed with him, but Micheal was usually there, and Gabe wouldn't like that. You're in for a big surprise. Why was he? What was happening? Maybe it'd end up being like The Odd Couple, but this was real life, Bill didn't think it'd end up being as funny. "How long is this going to last?" He asked him, "because, it'll be kinda awkward for me to stay with you." The two stopped, William cleared his throat, "is this where we're meant to be?"</div>

Michael heard someone talking in front of the door, even though the music that was currently blasting through his headphones. He had put them on just a minute ago, hoping that it would make his nervousness better, and really wasn't about to stop in the middle of the song, even though he was probably supposed to go and open the door for his new roommate now. Sighing, he turned the volume even higher before putting the headphones around his neck, and getting up, his feathers suddenly as ruffled as they were a minute ago. And his back itched because of that. He wasn't aware that could happen, and it was driving him mad. Sighing again, he shrugged his shoulders, hoping that it would help. When it didn't, he finally reached for the door and opened them.

His nervousness was immediately replaced by a frown. What are you doing here? he practically hissed in his thoughts when he saw Gabriel.

"If you say so," Gabe chirped, predicting that Bill'd end up handing the stuff over to him in a couple minutes anyway. "Thank you for helping, mi querido." Gabe liked to call Bill the Spanish equivalent of darling, dear etc.

"I really hope it won't be long, maybe a week or two, I dunno." Gabe answered. He had no idea, it all depended on how quick they could get his room fixed. "Maybe I can come stay in your dorm a few times?" Gabe asked quietly, "so we can spend some time alone." He shot William a glance, knowing what the boy was thinking, "perhaps not doing what I bet you're thinking of, because I don't want to destroy your room too but..."

"Yeah," Gabe nodded. "It's Michael's room." He watched for Bill's reaction to the fact that Michael would indeed be rooming with his boyfriend. "I'm your new roommate," Gabe told Michael as Michael opened the door. He could already tell from the man's face that he was not impressed.

<div align=center>William wondered how they were going to do anything like that again if Gabe destroyed everything every time he got excited. The bandages on his arms were another side effect of Gabriel's powers, but he'd already apologized profusely for those injuries, and they were healing okay. It hadn't happened the first time they'd, well. Perhaps William would have to end up fixing Gabe's emotions each time, but that was draining. The moment Gabriel lost concentration on his powers, bad things happened, Bill had been trying to help him control it, but that was difficult. He had no idea what to do to help him.

His jaw practically dropped when Micheal had opened the door, he looked between the two, first at Gabe and then back at Micheal. Oh dear. Bill began to giggle, quietly at first, but it had changed to a loud, amused stream of laughter within a few minutes, and he found that he couldn't stop it no matter how hard he tried. This was hilarious. He supposed he shouldn't really laugh, this would probably destroy Gabe and Micheal's relationship even further, but it was just so funny. As Bill thought the laughter was going to die away, a quick glance up at Micheal's face brought it on again, and he had to use Gabe for a support.</div>

Now, he did hiss. Like a cat, bearing his teeth. WHAT?! his thought exploded like a bomb for every telepath in school to hear, followed by the intense anger and irritation. His grip on the door tightened, his knuckles turning white as he stared at Gabriel, his face still a mask of shock. Then, the other boy laughed.

It is not funny, William! he fumed like a volcano, his usually calmness nowhere to be seen. He thought about searching for it, at least the still rational part of did, however, it seemed that it decided to take a permanent vacation the moment those words left Gabriel's mouth.

There is no chance in hell I will be living with you. he said, his voice cold enough to make penguins shiver.
