"Yeah." He gulped, trying to calm his breathing and his mind. He didn't want to start making a big deal out of a few kisses, but it felt special to him. "...We can kiss again if you want to..." He looked away though, his face getting redder. "Ot's not like we have to- I've kinda fucked up this day so..." The raven gave a nervous chuckle as he moved in a bit closer to Valentine. "You're really.. Handsome."

Valentine, for a moment seemed uneasy, appearing to rub his arm to ease the anxiousness he was feeling. It seemed to work, or maybe it had just been Auden making forget about it when he suddenly asked to kiss again. Valentine was still flush and if it was anymore possible to get even redder than he already was, then he would have. He didn't look away at least; he also caught Auden's red face.
The demon held a hand over his nose, as if trying to hide the fact he was just as red in the face. "Y-you keep blushing; it's making me all fluttery, geez." Even though he'd said it, it wasn't as if he had a problem with that.
Startled by the proximity, Valentine could have jumped back, but he didn't have the opportunity to. Auden manages to get the snake demon flustered enough to feel the need to hide his face behind both hands, whining behind his palms.
Auden knew what they were feeling, and man was he happy to hear it. He wanted to know that he could just as easily make Val red and emotionally confused as he was making himself. "Sorry." He said anyways, looking at him with a coy smile. The two hands on his face wasn't a good view though, as it left them unsure of what his face looked like underneath. Had it gotten redder since their last look at each other? He leaned his lips in, kissing both of his hands gently, like they were the most precious things in the world.
Sorry, he says, but Valentine could just hear the smile in his voice; Valentine couldn't choose between irritated or embarassed. It was hard to compose himself this way if Auden kept prodding at his mask like it wasn't even there. The snake demon worked for over a year to put it together but it was pretty much nothing with him around.
Valentine was trying to collect himself -- the reason why he'd thought of hiding his face again so he could at least put back his resting expression again. But that was the he felt Auden lean forward to him, leaving a kiss over his hands, forcing him to pull his hands off. Valentine was unmistakable red, his blush even reached to his ears, a childish pout on his face directed at... he guesses he was free to call him his boyfriend now?
"That was really unfair, I was trying to fix my poker face on."
Auden watched as his hands lowered and their face gave way to another wave of redness. It was utterly adorable, and Auden made sure to tell him that. "Your poker face? Why hide what you truly feel?" Hadn't they just had a full conversation about being true? "Your face is good enough-don't try to change it." He snuck a cheek kiss in, before putting his hands behind his back absentmindedly. "I get that- this is all new, for the both of us."
Valentine stared back at Auden. That was true, but he liked his pokerface. It gave him advantage to some things in life that isn't a game of poker. Not letting people read him was a different thing about lying about what he feels. "The poker face makes me more intimidati--" Before he had the chance to finish his words, Auden had caught him with a quick kiss to the cheek. Valentine had to stand frozen for a moment before he found the consciousness to blink and breathe again.
He dropped his hands to the side, thought the dusting of red on his cheeks hadn't faded. "Might be too new at it," he muttered. "That's fine... isn't it?
"It is fine. I... I don't know what I'm doing." He grabbed his hands again, smiling up at him. "Just- the moment I saw you I felt my heart become happy- like it was singing to me." Auden just stood there. "I don't know what that means, but when you kiss me... everything feels right." The raven said with a bright flush. "I-Is that weird to say?"
Auden reaching for his hands made Valentine look up at him to meet his gaze. There was a pounding in his chest he couldn't quiet down despite all his efforts. Looking at him made Valentine's feel fuzzy and the more he listened to him, all the more Auden held his hand, the more he could feel the electricity in his body and it was almost driving him mad.
"It's weird!!" A beat. "I think..." Valentine's gaze was everywhere but on Auden, but if the flush on his cheeks and his stammering were anything to go by, he clearly appeared to be very embarrassed. "I don't-- No one's said that ever a-and it's making my heart rate go up and everything!"
He didn't want Val to run away now. He was too attached to him, and sort of thrived off the warmth he felt in his chest. "I love how it is- the tingly sensation that seems to happen in my heart." Auden flared a bit, stepping closer. He moved and kissed him again, gently on his rather soft lips. There was no pressure if he wanted to pull away, though.
Valentine didn't push him away; if anything he seemed to be too startled to make a move at all at first. This is fine, he remembered himself say. He let himself relax, melt into the kiss and into the moment itself. Valentine clung to his shirt, just to make sure he wouldn't pull away first. Warm was what he felt -- which was entirely new to him. He could get used to this. Probably.
Valentine didn't count the seconds at all before pulled away. It was quick and he didn't meet Auden's eyes at all. The moment they pulled apart, the demon just buried his face on his shoulders, hiding his face away.
