It was quiet in the park tonight. The sun had recently set, so Ishvi didn't have to worry about accidentally burning himself, but he still smelt vaguely of coconuts from his sunscreen. He hoped it didn't bother Jacota's nose. It was nice to walk out here, stop thinking for a bit, get some air, though the night was a little cold. He couldn't stay long because he had to get to class soon, but at least for a moment he wasn't suffocating.
His stomach was a little unsettled even still. He hadn't really talked about what had happened when he'd disappeared. It had been so spur of the moment, with the half-angel not expecting to come back at all. When he'd found himself alive again, he hadn't expected Jacota to even want to stick around, much less walk with him or talk with him.
He flickered slightly looking at the other boy. The events had broken his control, and his form was not as stable anymore, tending to flicker at any emotion. And he was so confused about what he did feel. Words felt inadequate, so he let his gaze linger a little longer without saying anything, then he turned his head, looking at nothing in particular.
"So... I... It's quiet tonight." Why was talking so hard?
