Cordelia didn't say anything more to the male, since he hadn't said anything either. There was no use in doing so. She watched him as he shook his head, not caring, but turned to the little girl when she spoke. It was quiet, but due to heightened senses, she had been able to hear it.

She forced herself not to roll her eyes. "Still doubt it..." she mumbled, parts of her fangs showing as she spoke. She was still a fledging.... she was still learning how to hide them. She hadn't noticed, though, but she wouldn't have cared much even if she had known. She looked at the male again. "Well, is your shockwave 'friendly'?" she asked, wanting to make sure for herself, and for the girl.
She did feel kind of bad about being mean to the kid... she had a soft spot for children, after all, and had ben a mother once. But she couldn't help it, she was used to being mean to everyone.
