"That is fine, you have not shown me any of the qualities of being a friend yet, therefore it would be illogical for us to be that close." He statement sounded right to her, as she had based her decision on the fact that he had no proven himself a friend. "Why were you alone? Did you live in the desert? I heard that there is a lot less people that live there, so perhaps that would make sense. Did you talk to the animals?"

"Friendships are builtup," he chuckled, "have you heard the saying respect is earned? Well friendship is simmilar. We meet, then we get to know each other then we become friends." He gave her a smile.

Then she asked about how he was alone and the smile vanished, "somone...killed my family, and then kept me in a bad place for a long time." He was shocked he'd actually told her that, he never tells anyone that.

"No I have not, though it sounds like something that would work in the favor of wanting to have respectable friends. You do not want to force it on like you are making them be your friend, yes?" All of that was starting to make sense to her. "Oh, well..." She raised her hand and awkwardly patted his head, as if that would calm or soothe him somehow. "There there human, now you are here."

He raised an eyebrow at her patting him, but laughed at it, "yea, this island is a good place for those with no place to go."

"An island where outsiders can come home I suppose." He looked over the city again, "I still don't understand a lot of it, but I'm learning."

He took a breath, "I'very been meaning to go look through the market, they say there's so much there."

"This seems to be a good home for people yes, as it isn't too big or overly populated. It is special and that is what matters right now." She nodded as she leaned her head over the edge and blinked. "Well, we could go and look at this marketplace if it is so special?" She wondered what it held for her.

"Oh, that does sound pleasant." With that, she turned and walked to the door down. "I will see you down there." Without another word, she opened he door and sped ran down all the stairs. Exiting the building, she brushed herself off, as there had been a bit of dust that had caught on her body. As she waited for him, Marina walked around the bike, inspecting the weird object.

Aedan quickly climbed down the side of the building, making sure to use the handholds he had created. He landed and dusted himself off.

He gestured to his bike, "you like it?" It was a good bike, red in color. "My boss helped me get a good deal." He walked over dusting off the seat for her and handing her his extra helmet.

"Don't worry I'm a good driver." He hpped on the front and started it, he was very excited but he waited patiently.

Marina wasn't sure about any of this. This was indeed, the first time that she had ever been on a motorcycle. Even the word sounded and felt weird when she thought them. Was it like a smaller car? Or maybe a faster car, as it was rather loud once he started it up. She jumped as she put the helmet on as he had. She also sat like he was, though she was behind him.

Aedan chuckled and turned to her, he hit a button on the side of his helmet making the face guard pop up. "Never road one before huh. Don't worry I'll go slow, and don't be afraid to hang on to me if you have to."

Pusing the face guard back down, he pulled out slowly to let her get balanced, once she seemed alright he drove, not fast really, but theyd get there in good time.

They arrived to find the market a bit packed, but not as much as usual. He pulled to the side parking the bike. "Well here we are."
