The breeze was very rough on her body, but she didn't mind at all. A small flock of birds flew overhead, cawing loudly like they were having a violent conversation. Her feet were dangling over the edge of the rooftop, tapping the concrete with every swing of her legs. It was a very acclimatized day for sure, with the sun being out as bright as ever, no cloud in the sky at all, with the gentle cheer of students coming out of the school. If Marina could say that she was at piece, she would have.

Aedan stepped out of school, the wind blowing at his clothes and his dark hair. He was alone of course, he had a few friends but Aedan wasn't what most would call good company. He was awkward in public, which often made it hard to get close to anyone. Pulling on his helmet, he hoped onto his motorcycle, starting it he felt the engine come alive. Machines, he'd always been better with machines than with people. He hit the gass leaving the school behind.

The road he took was rather empty, a few cars here and there but mostly empty. His nose twitched under his helmet, he picked up a scent, but something about it was different. Pulling over to the side, he removed his helmet, sniffing in a attempt to get a bead on the scent. He his head went one way and another trying to find the source.

He took a large sniff and found that the scent was coming from above. He looked up, an eyebrow raised, he saw her, a girl around his age. Just sitting on the roof of the building. It wasn't unusual, plenty of the beings here that could fly, bUT her scent was odd. Shutting off his bike, he formed two ionic knives, and started scaling the building. Using the blades to get handholds, he moved up the building, his trained body carrying him up.

He reached the top, and flipped himself onto the edge. He looked to the girl, "uh...hello."

She saw the men climbing up the building, though it seemed that he was not actually climbing it. More so, he was sticking something into the side of the structure. How odd it was to look at. When he flipped himself up, the robot blinked thoughtfully, observing the creature like he was something she had never seen before. "Hello there, I was wondering..." She looked down to the ground, almost tipping herself over the edge. "How did you get up from the ground down there? Does your powers have something to do with climbing perhaps?"

Aedan cocked his head, he'd expected the girl to freak out ar him climbing like that, but she remained calm, he raised an eyebrow at her asking how he climbed the building. He held out his hand and focused, his hand glowed with ionic energy and with it he formed various shapes a square, an orb and finally a knife, "it's called ionic energy, I can form constructs, in this case climbing blades."

He sat down on the edge with her, a bit baffled by her perfectly calm demeanor, he pulled his sunglasses off to see how she'd react to his eyes. "I'm.....I'm Aedan Drago."

"That is rather interesting then." She blinked at his hands, trying to see if she could figure out exactly what they were. Yes, it was ionic energy, but how did it function and why was it inside of him? It was an interesting topic, but not one that she wanted to get into at that very moment. She though for a moment of what she was going to ask him. Perhaps why he had come up there, to come and see her when there were plenty of other people that he could visit with. "Aedan Drago... Where does that name originated from?" It sounded familiar, but she didn't know why. "My name is Marina Harimatina."

Aedan cocked his head, his nose twitching at her odd scent, it's good to meet you Marina." He couldn't get a beed on her, none, she was like a clean slate.

"Well...Drago has various European origins. I'm from England though, Sussex to be exact." His head was still cocked, he pulled off his sunglasses, revealing his glowing eyes. He wasn't sure what was going on.

"Yes, you too." Though her voice was very monotone and flat. If she could mean the words, she would. "That makes sense then, it seemed familiar to me, so now I know why. Sussex. I was there a long time ago, back before I came onto this island actually. It was a lovely place." She nodded contently, unsure of where the conversation would go from there. "I am from London, England, if you wanted to know."

Her monotone voice intrigued him, she was so perfectly calm, not even a bit of emotion. "It is a good place, peaceful, it's why we lived there."

"Do you think you may have met some of my family while there?" He supposed it was uikely but he wanted to keep her talking.

He nodded as she stated she was from London, "I was born in London, my father spent a lot of time there."

"I apologize, me coming up here like this was a bit rude."

"This place has a lot of different people. I like to watch them in my free time. Every single person is different it seems, which makes for unique conversations whenever you talk to someone." She nodded her head a few times to prove her point. "No, I do not think so. I didn't go out much until I came here. And no, you are not disturbing me. I like it when people are able to go out of their way to talk to someone they do not know."

Aedan smiled, he was happy he hadn't disturbed her. "This place is truly amszing, so many different people, my neighbor is a ghost and there's a dragon that lives down the hall." He looked out over the city, this strange yet wonderful place that had become his home.

He turneed back to her, "excuse me, but are you a student? You look around my age." She was already here so she hadn't been at the school. He cocked his head, his glowing eyes shimmering.
