I Can't Show You The World But This Space Station Is Pretty Cool

Irso was standing by a teleporter casually waiting for his date for the evening to show up. Even now that was a weird thought for him. He hadn't dated in over........he couldn't remember off the top of his head but it had to be pushing a couple hundred years he felt. It wasn't like love or romance was given a lot of space in his chaotic wanderings. He scratched the back of his head through his long black hair and sighed. Despite all his knowledge love wasn't something he could pin down. Some emotions were easy to break down but romance was a puzzle. He couldn't say he loved Ms.Kasa heck even in his mind he called her that. It was such a foreign thing to him. All he knew was that she peeked his interest enough to warrant him casually asking her out.

People of all form hustled and bustled by with the sound of the city performing a symphony for the denizens unable to tune it out. He set his mind on other things to block the noise, such as, what would she be wearing? He hadn't asked her because it seemed like a meaningless question but now he was regretting it. He would just have to wait for the pointed eared lady to pop up in front of him...He meant that figuratively. If she literally just popped up in front of him that would be more than an icebreaker. He chuckled at the thought of her doing so. Surprisingly he wasn't nervous about this. Maybe it was her or that years of life had left him in the "I'm too old to be X" state of being but regardless he was rather cheerful at seeing the space station with someone so kind and fun to be around.

He knocked around the idea of texting her what he was wearing, or the location of the teleporter just to make sure she hadn't gotten lost but felt she would be just fine. Though he wasn't in the usual attire she'd usually see him in. This was a casual day which meant casual clothes. He was in looser clothing which was a light midriff choli that would show off his body if his Dupatta wasn't covering it. It was a light grey color while his pants were a dark black. He had taken a liking to many Earth and Messian clothing so he usually mixed the two styles. Instead of looking himself over and over like a teenager on prom night he floated himself into the air and spawned a cat into his lap to play with while he waited.

"Meow~"

He chuckled at the cat.

This was so strange.

In such a short amount of time, within a day or two of each other, she's snagged herself a date with Irso and Titus. While both were good friends and she had no problem speaking with them, dates always made her somewhat nervous; especially since she hadn't gone on a date in a couple decades. While she could not say she had any particularly substantial romantic feelings towards either, they were fun people to be with and she couldn't deny that they were both cute in their own special ways.

The bus she was riding jostled as it came to a halt at the space-station teleport stop. She stepped off, walking closer to the building, looking up at it with curiosity. She took a deep breath to relax and stole a moment to smooth out her clothes from the jostling bus ride. She wore black Doc Martens since she guessed they'd be doing a lot of walking around the space station with dark-blue skinny jeans held up by a thin brown belt, a tannish-brown tanktop and a wool, poncho-like cardigan that was dark grey with black, turquoise, and light-grey geometric patterns on it. Her hair pulled back in a loose but neat braid. She was all dolled up and ready to go.

She stepped inside the teleportation station. Already amazed by the myriad of different people, all busily moving in and out and around the station. It was quite busy...Maybe she should call or text him? But as the thought crossed her she couldn't help but notice a familiar face floating above the crowd. Her lips tugged into an amused smile at his outfit, she couldn't help but giggle to herself like a child. The belly revealing shirt he was wearing reminded her of those stereotypical harem clothes from older movies. After letting that thought pass through her mind, she worked and weaved through the crowd towards her date. "Hi!" She greeted enthusiastically, her pre-date jitters quickly disappearing.

Irso eyes quickly shot up as he was snatched from his childlike play with the cat. He quickly took stock of Kasa in a less than formal attire and couldn't help but chuckle immediately. It was a nice change of pace compared to what he saw day in and out. Plus since this was a date he'd assumed she was putting more work in than usual. Letting his feet reconnect with the ground he let the tiny cat jump up from his hands to his shoulders before it finally rested on his head. He didn't pay it much mind and he was confident in his hair to remain perfect and pristine. If there was one thing his creator stressed was good hair presentation.

"Wow,I was expecting far more hippie centric attire from you Ms.Kasa. Though I must say you knocked it out of the park and look rather beautiful." He chuckled again as a quick image of Kasa in more "zen" attire came to mind. Despite his jesting, he really did think Kasa looked nice. He assumed this is where most people would get butterflies or..something but instead he just felt a great sense of joy at the joy to follow.

Clearing his throat he would silently compare himself quickly and realize he had a few cat hairs on his person which were disposed of just as quickly. Just because it wasn't formal didn't mean he had the right to avoid decency.

Her lips would tug into a smile as she chuckled at his comment. She would hold her hands out as if going 'ta-da' in reference to her appearance. "Why, thank you Irso." She would thank amusedly. Looking over his outfit. She would not have expected him to be the boy to dress in something that looked like a belly-dancers outfit at first glance. However, he somehow made it work.

"You look quite nice too; are these clothes from your original home?" She would ask, her voice laced with curiosity. She seemed to not notice, or not mind, the cat hair that clung to his clothing for a moment before it was quickly plucked away. Probably since she relied on the pelts of other creature; if she was bothered by animal fur and hair, that would be a problem.

"Well my original home is heaven and the culture there isn't solid in the least I will say." He would pluck away the final hair. "This is more a mix of Indian and Messian attire. I usually wore it because the days were hot on Mes where I was living."

Irso ears twitched as a rather loud party came out onto the platform from a teleporter and were carrying balloons with rather tacky space jokes on them. That didn't stop him from smiling, however. He was a simple angel with simple needs. Most of the jokes he told in the class were chalked up to what earthlings and their sister realms called a "dad joke" despite the laughing reactions he would receive he still couldn't discern if that was a good label r a bad one with good results.

"What about you I'm sure yours is steeped in your native heritage? Besides maybe the footwear...and pants.....actually no you seem to be geared for a decent trek." He would chuckle "This is where I find my ability to float a great boon."
