Lucy wasn't sure what to do, if this little meeting even meant anything. The girl was very pretty, so Lucy thought that at least that was something. She wanted to just, fall asleep, though maybe this wasn't the best place to do so. She didn't want this girl to leave, even though she felt that their meeting was coming to a close. These girls were alike an different at the same time. It felt a bit weird to Lucy, being around her. She wanted to go and do something, fun. She wanted to go cause some trouble, but she needed someone else to do that. She wished that she could just, throw her knife into a tree, or run away, to not fall asleep. "So what happened, why did you leave you home?" Lucy got a bit closer to the girl, but just by a little. "Why out of all places, did you want to come here?"

"I didn't really have a choice in all honesty. Kinda stumbled upon the place I guess. Don't want to go into details, if you don't mind," Max smiled weakly, feeling a bit ashamed. She wanted to lie, but that never got her anywhere. So she put it completely bluntly and regretted it.
"What about you?" she returned the question, "what happened to your brother?"

"My brother." She paused then snarled at the thought of him.Her brother. Like she had said earlier, she loved and hated him. She didn't really want to get into detail either. "I guess he is somewhere in the world, him being in the army. I don't really care." She shook her head and lifted her shoulders. She could care less about what he was doing. Lucy knew that he didn't need her to be watching over him, making sure that he was okay. Though, she couldn't really do that where she was. "They thought." she thought. "My brother thought, that it would be good for me to be with people. Or something." She raised her hands, not knowing why she was even here.

This was obscene! Absolutely ridiculous! Stupid. Max felt her jaw drop... "What?" She breathed as she was about to have an asthma attack. "You can't just not care! He's your brother! Family," she half-shouted. She was in a state of disbelief, her mind couldn't understand. She stood agape with amazement. What a ridiculous girl!
"I don't care"Yes you do, yes yes yes! How can you not careabout your family. Shame on you

"Because they used me?" She half shouted back. "Without me knowing." She Sayers at a tree to her right. "They could have at least asked what I wanted." She loomed down and closes her eyes for a second. "You are right though. I do love them and care about them." She paused. "Just, sometimes I wish this never had happened. It changed me." She felt that way a lot. Being thrown into all of it. As a child, she had no idea what she was doing. She probably thought that it was a little game or dream. "I felt, I think, as a child, that it was all a dream. Something that I was doing, something I could back out of, without remembering it." She smirked and laughed a bit. "I was wrong." She sighed a bit and looked up at the girl. "I guess I am more mad at the situation, that at my family."

Max was ever so slightly dumbfounded. She couldn't offer sympathy or a comforting shoulder to cry on because her shoulder was not comfortable and she'd prefer it if Lucy didn't cry. 'Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry.' Max frantically whimpered in her head, she couldn't handle it. She was stronger than that, Max not Lucy. Max didn't know what Lucy was, considering her mood swings then she didn't seem that emotionally stable but on the other hand she didn't want to assume wrong either. Especially on a touchy subject like that, she was just glad Lucy couldn't read her thoughts.

She breathed in and out, moving and stretching a bit. She looked up at Max, and smiled a bit. "But, what is done, is done." She nodded to herself and put her hands behind her. "You can't change the past, so that is why I barely ever bring it up, or worry about it." She paused. "It is okay though, I am good." She redid her hair and then put her hands by her side. "Everything happens for a reason, right?" She smiled and laughed a bit. "Even if you don't want it to." It was true, or at least she though it was. Everything happens for a reason, every decision she has made, could have worked out differently, her life would be different if she were to change anything in her life. She guesed, that he just had to accept it, for what it was, forgive her famoly and herself. She breathed in and out smiling at the sky.

Everything happens for a reason. Or you're just really stupid. Max was. She knew she was, that was why she was here. It wasn't a reason she wanted to happen. Maybe it was fate. But even so she didn't like it and it sucked so she kinda had to get used to it, no point dwelling on the past. She agreed with Lucy on this much.
Max decided that she should probably go and vent her annoyance out somewhere before she lashed on Lucy, which God forbid she did not want to happen.
"I think we should call it quits," Max semi-asked as well as kinda of ordering herself. She didn't want to feel rude to Lucy but it was for her safety, she could strike a deer in one, what was to stop her from taking down this girl here who right now did not look up to competition.

Lucy nodded at Max. She was leaving. Going away, for some reason. "Okay." She smiled a bit. She liked this girl, even if they had total opposites about them. For Lucy, it kind of felt as if they could talk to each other, in a weird sort of way. She liked that. "Thanks, for whatever that was." She paused. "I think it helped me." She was sure that it had, but she didn't want to just say that. "See you around I guess." She pushed off from a tree and give Max one last smile, before leaving to go back to her empty dorm.

Max turned back and gave Lucy a wonky smile "Thank you, and I'm glad it helped. We all need a bit of help now and then. I'll see you around. Keep searching," she said and paused. She watched her turn and leave and quietly said, just able for Lucy to hear "for whatever you are looking for." She quietly smiled to herself, as much as she was glad that she was in her own company, she also was a little lost and sad. She was nice company at times, though she was difficult; very much like herself but even so, they were friendly words and it was tough letting go.
