"Elle...""I erm... I think I'm in love..."

She could almost feel her heart plummit to the bottom of her feet as she nodded about his request to tea. Her only response was a dull, one sylable, "Oh..." she put down the tea before him, and moved to sit down again.

"You have really good taste in cologne."

Frankie blushed again, and nodded. "Yeah... It..um, doesn't smell as good on all the guy's I've ever know who wear it as it does on you." she smiled slightly sheepishly, before using the large mug to cover her blush. If he was in love, then he didn't need to deal with her petty crush on him.

Her eyes widened slightly. Did I just admit I have a crush on him? Yeah.. I did.. She blushed again. And then raised her eyes to his.

"Oh..."

He looked at her, "You mean so much to me... I truly don't know what I'd do without you Elle. I know you barely know me... But... Elle, I think I'm in love with you." He looked at her his eyes loving and devoted to her. "Elle, everytime I look at you my heart speeds up and I just want to hold you close. And when we kissed..." He looked at her his love sick eyes gazing at her's. "When we kiss, I feel like everything is going to be alright as long as your there, to fight for and protect."

"Yeah... It..um, doesn't smell as good on all the guy's I've ever know who wear it as it does on you."

He smiled at her, wondering if she felt the same about him. Why did it only smell good on him? He wondered as he looked at her waiting for her to hate his last comments or admit her love. He felt he had more a chance for her to hate him.

Frankie's eyes got a little bit wide, and she stood up. She moved over to the counter and leaned against it. "Oh Armand.. This is not a good time.." she said, not hating him, not throwing herself at him. She rested her hand on her forehead, covering her eyes.

She coughed a few times and was quiet, her mind racing for a way to explain herself to him without hurting him. "I'm.. I..." she shook her head, "Why tonite?" she mumbled to herself, sliding down to sit on the floor. "I really like you Armand. You're kind, and handsome, and you treat me really good. But..." she looked up at him for a moment, before looking away again, "I can't put my heart on the line again." she sighed, standing up and still not looking at him. "I'm sorry." she whispered, feeling more rotten than ever.

She moved to the door, and then paused again, looking back at him with a sad sort of smile, "And when you kiss me... I forget that." she said quietly.

"Oh Armand.. This is not a good time.."

"I didn't plan it out... I mean... I never felt this much emotion. Everytime I kiss you my feelings only grow, I can't seem to stop thinking 'what if possibly this could be real.' Elle... I never felt this way about any girl, your the only one that opened this side of me. Without you I'm just a army man with no life other than the army."

"I'm.. I... Why tonite? I really like you Armand. You're kind, and handsome, and you treat me really good. But... I can't put my heart on the line again. I'm sorry."

His heart slumped into a puddle a pityful tiny unglamourious puddle getting stepped on. He looked at her, he looked even more love sick than before. He in that instant figured she didn't care at all for him. He felt like he had been stabbed in the heart.

"And when you kiss me... I forget that."

A tiny glimmer of hope waved in front of him. He need it wasn't the most ethical way to find out if she cared. But he needed to know, he couldn't go on without knowing she cared even a little. He couldn't hold it in so much emotion, he walked toward her. His eyes shone with such soft loving desire for her lips. He tried to fight it but before he could stop himself he had put his hand on her cheek and another around her waist and kissed her tenderly and passionately pulling her closer. He knew he shouldn't have but it was the only way he'd know for sure if she cared deeply for him. Maybe if her breath hitched and her heart beat pounded without pampers being around. Just maybe she really cared for him too.

She felt all her breath leave her when she realized he was going to kiss her, but she didn't move. When his lips met hers, all her thought of defending her heart went out the window. She wrapped her hands around his neck, burying them in his hair.

She moved her head sideways slightly to deepen the kiss. Then she realized what she was doing. She pulled away, and put one hand on his chest, flushed extremely. "That..wasn't fair." she gasped out, her eyes moving over his face, loving being against him.

She finally snapped herself out of it, and her eyes darkened with anger. She pulled out of his grip, ran to the bathroom and slammed the door, locking it, and hiding behind it.

"That..wasn't fair."

He smiled, "At least now I know you don't hate me." He said his gaze as loving as ever, if not increasingly more. He lightly ran his hand gently down her cheek, her lovestruck look was replaced with a angry one.

She turn and slammed the bathroom door shut in his face. "Elle! I'm sorry, I just... Elle... you mean the world to me." He said lightly, "You can come out if you want. I don't think you should spend the night in the bathroom. If you want I'll stay in the kitchen and you can sleep." He said lightly, he left the room and went to the kitchen sitting in the chair. His lovesick look returning, love was harder than he had thought.
——————————
He dozed off to sleep in the chair and didn't wake till morning when he fell off the chair and onto the hard floor. He got up and rubbed his head. He wondered if she was still furious with him. He sighed and started to make her breakfast, a nice good tasty one.

Frankie hadn't come out of the bathroom, and had somehow managed to make herself comfortable in the bathtub. When she got washed up, she looked at herself in the mirror and groaned. Which made her cough.

She rubbed her forehead and made her way to the kitchen. She was thinking she was stupid for keeping her painkillers in the kitchen, because she could smell the smells of a delicious breakfast.

She coughed heavily a few more times before schlumping into the kitchen, filling her glass with water, and taking out some painkillers. She didn't even acknowledge Armand's presence, and downed the pills quickly, puting down her cup and moving back towards the exit of the kitchen.

He sighed, "I know your mad at me, but you need breakfast." He handed her a tray with blueberry pancakes with other normal breakfast foods. He had one rose on it and a note. If she read the note she'd have gotten a apoligy that was so touching and sweet. But he doubted she'd read it anyway, but at least she'd get to eat the food.

He decided she could always throw the note crumbled in his face. He looked at her and outside, he then heard her cough. "Let's go to the doctor's to get you some medicine for that cold that's coming." He said getting her coat for her. "You can be mad at me later, but your health is important." After the doctor's he'd take her out for lunch and buy her something that she wanted.

All he wanted was her happiness, he looked at her knowing she felt miserable. She probably was angry and sad, possibly overwealmed, he sighed. He knew what he did was wrong, he should've just took her words without kissing her. He would do anything to make her un-mad at him again. He expected to be hit with something for anything.

Frankie shook her head. "I don't want to. I don't need a doctor." she said dully, not looking at him. She put the tray down on the table. "And I'm not hungry." she added, sounding slightly plugged up.

She turned and meandered over to her bed, and collapsed on it, pulling the covers up around her chin and closing her eyes.

"I don't want to. I don't need a doctor. And I'm not hungry."

He moved to her bed and swooped her up on his shoulder, "You need to see a doctor and that's that. Your wound could be infected, I'll carry you there and back if I have to. I am responsible for your being stuck here, and I'm responsible for you being ill. I'm sorry about my actions towards you and I understand if you hate me. But your health is the most important Ella. Please just go to the doctor's at least, I only know some medical actions and if I can't treat you then you could die." He said this his eyes showed his worry for her health.

"Please just go to the doctor's with me so you can feel better." He said sincerely worried about her safety and health. He wanted her to get treatment for her wound as well as for whatever else might ail her. She was the most important thing to him at this moment and if anything happened to her he'd die.
