The talk show host exited the television station for the day. He finished with work and now he was on the streets looking for some fun. This was how he got a number of his stories; he simply wandered around enough in the right places and saw things. Being a robot made it easy for him to store data within his memory and never forget it. Someone would have to forcefully hack him in order to try that, and his creators and the television station would be on that person's butt quicker than a cheetah. While he probably should have considered bodyguards, he was just roaming about entirely on his own.

Some people were taking the time to check him out as he arrived at the mall. Mumbles of "Wait, don't I know him?" and "It's them!" echoed through the crowd. Suddenly he started having folks approach him. There were a number of people asking the robot actor for an autograph or a selfie. Being one for the people, he couldn't bring himself to decline. However, now the situation was getting out of hand. He was getting a little too much attention and debated scrambling out of the crowd fast. He had to figure out a way to not get mobbed at this mall anymore, but how?

Jaqueline Jones

Jaqueline had just sat down on a bench to glance over one of her receipts when a crowd was starting to make a commotion nearby. The robot did look familiar, once she bothered to look up. A TV host, right? Fabio…something. There were quite a few people surrounding him, and around her she could overhear a few people wondering if they would have a chance to approach as well—when they could potentially find an opening in the crowd.

It had been years since Jaqueline had been in a similar situation, but it was a familiar one nonetheless. She could tell that Fabio was giving that ‘polite-but-overwhelmed’ smile to everyone as the crowd loomed around him at all sides. It could easily be hours before he’d have the chance to even move from that spot at the rate people were recognizing him.

Jaqueline’s tail swished behind her as she glanced down at her clothing for a moment. Black pants, black jacket, she just bought a new pair of sunglasses…how convenient. Her tail dug into her shopping bag to pull out the sunglasses and slide them on as she stood up. The big scary lizard bodyguard—she couldn’t help but chuckle to herself at the thought.

But quickly enough, she was ‘in-character’ as she approached the crowd. “Excuse me! Excuse me!” she called out as she made her way through the crowd—using her large tail to politely but firmly push people out of the way. There was an air of authority about her, and people stepped hesitantly away from her.

“I’m terribly sorry ladies and gentlemen, but Fabio needs to be somewhere,” Jaqueline announced once she was able to use her body to block Fabio from the crowd.

She tilted her head toward Fabio, tilting her glasses down just enough to let Fabio see her eyes. She flashed him a single wink to say ‘trust me’. “Please hurry, sir. They need you right away upstairs.”

The crowd practically parted like the red sea as Jaqueline stepped forward—allowing them both to walk away from the crowd. Heh, being a bodyguard was kind of fun.

Fabio was bewildered to have someone step in as a bodyguard. He didn't leave with one. The person was large and intimidating with black clothing. She was clearly a lizard woman. As he closely observed her, he noticed her tilting her shades just a tad. The tilt was enough for him to witness a coy wink. What exactly did that mean? His system detected multiple possible meanings. However, what was an actor without the ability to improvise? He quickly flashed a smile to his fans and waved goodbye to them as he stepped over to the giant lizard.

"So sorry everyone, but she's right! I have a busy schedule. See you all next show!"

One wink and he walked away from the crowd. He went over to his "bodyguard" and moved close to her as if he was being escorted to another location. He marched forward like he had places to be. He was thankful for the save, but he had to wait until they were away from the crowd in order to give his thanks. After they presumably got away, he smiled and whispered to the person from the corner of his mouth.

"Thank you, hun~"

He had no idea where to go now, but he acted like he knew exactly where he was heading.

Jaqueline let out a small sigh of relief as they got further away from the crowd of fans. Good thing she was big and intimidating enough that people generally didn’t want to try and call her out on not really being a bodyguard. She slowed her pace once they were out of sight of the crowd.

“No problem,” Jaqueline replied with a wink as she pulled her sunglasses up to her forehead.

“It’s nice to please fans and all, but you deserve some personal space too.” Jaqueline added with a shrug. “It’s Fabio, right? You’ve got that talk show?”

Jaqueline admittedly had never really sat down and watched his show consistently, since being a teacher and counselor kept her rather busy, but she had at least seen bits and pieces of it.

“My name is Jaqueline.” She grinned.
