"Ow! You bloody machine!" Abe floated behind him, his retractable arms trying to stitch up a cut in his back. Some Oni criminal with a katana had tried to duel him, he'd won of course, but now he had a gash in his back. "I swear Abe...if your not careful I will scrap you."

He sighed annoyed that his anger and frustration was making his accent thicker, he'd pretty much given up trying to hide it, but it was still anoying.

Addy didn't give much thought when she spotted what was obviously Aedan prancing around like a superhero in spandex. Maybe it wasn't spandex but it was close enough or him considering the fact she was comparing him to aqua-man rather than batman.

She just walked into his dorm, not even bothering to knock before she started to accuse him of keeping secrets. "HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL ME YOURe TRYING TO BE A SUPERHERO.!!!" She screeched, not even minding the robot patching up his wounds as she walked around his dorm and sat down on his dresser.

"I had to find out, like those lame girls in the comic books, you didn't even tell me. I should disown you" She said her arms crossed and a pout on her lips.

Aedan blinked in utter confusion, Addy, his best friend had stormed in and demanded to know why he hadn't told her about being a superhero. "Um....I dont..know what your talking about Addy."

Abe's arm twitched, "Bloody hell!" He looked from Abe to Addy, "um....I was in an accident on my bike." A horrible lie, she probably saw his bike on the way in, it was fine. Abe finished and went to shut the door.

Aedan turned to face Addy, "I don't know what your suggesting but...." His body suddenly became aware of the blood he'd lost, he stumbled trying to grab at his bed he missed and landed on the floor, "..........ow."

Addy glared at her a friend, a small hiss left her lips at the lie. How dare he lie to her that berk. She was one hundred percent sure it was him, obviously his scent was the same and she wasn't an idiot. She didn't make mistakes, she was always sure when she accused someone of something. "DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT, I SAW THE DARN THING IT WAS FINE"

She quickly got off the dresser and went to help him back on the bed. She was of course furious with him but he was hurt, and human....she didn't think those were very good combinations. "Take it easy Knight Shade your freaking idiot."

He allows her to help him into bed, mentally giving up on lying to her, "I've seen worse," he gestured to his badly scarrd chest, stomach and back.

Abe popped up handing him a bottle of water, "guess there's no point in lying anymore is there?" He took a sip of his water, "yea I'm Knight Shade."

He reached under his bed and pulled out what looked like a metal handle, he hit a switch on it and it unfolded into a sword, he twirled it, "cool hugh, don't worry I know how to use it." He refolded the blade and placed the weapon on his bed.

He reached under his bed again and pulled out a large case opening it he showed the rest of the equipment, a arm mounted grappling gun, throwing knives and tge suit itself, it was a mixture of nylon fabric with a kevlar enforced chest. The mask was designed to look like a knights helmet, "don't ask where I got it or the money needed, I'm not saying."

Addy looked at him with suspicion, how could he be okay after that ass kicking he had gotten. Sure he had won but he was human, HUMAN, she was pretty sure they didn't bounce back that quick. "Okay aside from the obvious lie, because humans don't bounce back that quick...YOU ARE SUCH A NERD" She said shaking her head.


Addy looked over the stuff, rolled her eyes and went to raid his fridge for food. "Okay but if you get killed, i'm going to show up at your funeral and rant about how stupid you are. Then i'm going to tell everyone you had a small dick so there is no reason to be sad." She said glaring at one of her best friends. She had a few close friends that she didn't share with her sister and she cherished them. Mostly because they were the easiest for her be herself around.

She had kicked off her shoes and started to make herself comfortable, after locating leftover chinese food and warming it up. Yeah she just made herself comfortable without asking first, she was pretty much like that with all her friends. She hoped Aedan was used to it by now. She returned to her spot on the dresser after snagging a pillow. "Okay, tell me how this all started it."

Aedan sighed and popped a pain pill, "well first of all, I had extensive military training, the only reason that guy got a hit in was because he could summon his sword via magic." He took a drink of his water.

He looked at his best friend uncertain where to go next, "I like helping people...I do." He drank the last of his water, "I was on my way home from town...a normal night....when I heard shouting around a corner, I found a werewolf tearing into a mother in front of her child."

His lip twitched, "she died the werewolf ran off, of course I stayed with the girl until the cops showed up, but with the number of shapeshifters it would be nearly impossible to find him." He looked up to Addy, "there wasnt enough evidence to put him away if found anyways."

"So a week latter, I was walking buy the station, and that same werewolf tried to mug me....so I...I put him in a coma." Abe brought him a soda, he chugged it, "I can't just...sit here while that's happening out there."

Addy stared at him like he had six heads. "So all this started because you had some fucked up baam expierence? You know Batman is a comic book right? Dude, the police hate Vigilantes." She said crossing her arms across her chest, and considering the size it wasn't doing her any favors.

She jumped down from the dresser and started to pace back and forth, yelling at him demonic. "This is stupid -demonic- Idiot, are you even thinking about this will effect your issues? -demonic cussing-" she stared at him waiting for him to answer her. He wasn't thinking this T through. The villians on these island, they weren't like normie criminals, they had powers, they would kill him, and she would be left mourning him.

"I don't approve, Aedan this ridiculous. I didn't think you'd actually be Knight Shade and trying to rid the island of crime. My last name is Rosales Dude. R-o-s-a-l-e-s"

"You don't think I know that, yea the police will be on my tail, but when you have skills like mine they can be avoided." He sat up, his back was obviously still sore, "but they were there for that child's mother....or the old man I saved or that shop owner that Oni attacked. So I can't stop." He stopped now and people would get hurt.

He watched as she paced back and forth, "yea I know, a vigilante lifestyle may not mix well with my PTSD." In truth it hadn't really been affected yet, but it was inevitable. "But other people come first...I'm not going to stop helping people just because I have issues."

He stared at her as she conveyed her dissaproval, "a wise man once said, if all the people of the world put aside there differencesand for one day and helped each other, there wouldn't be another war for a hundred years." He looked at her letting the words sink in, "I'm not every person in the world, I'm some kid of was given powers and more training than any twenty soldiers, but if I can make a difference then I'm going out there." He took a sip of his water his head still spinning, "your my best friend, you always will be.....but I cant stop, not now."

Addy growled at Aedan in frustration "How can you help other people if you can't even help yourself? Huh? Answer that!" She said her pacing getting angrier and angrier by the second.

"What if you an episode in the middle of a fight? What if you're sitting in class and have a break down because of this?" She asked no demanded. Didn't he see how selfish this was? He had only been on the island for a short amount of time, he didn't know the horrible powers that some of the residence had. She did, she knew she grew up around this stuff.

"I'm not saying you shouldn't help...I'm saying you shouldn't help right now.."
