"Whats the worst police can do to a minor?" He asked her suddenly deciding that what he said was out of terms with what he had meant
"as a kid. No. I would just get off to some poor foster home for kids like me who cant even get one advantage in life." He said with a smirk. "But if I am...I have an advantage." He said showing his arm was still crystalized under the bandages
Catherine wasn't liking the sound of this, but she smiled and nodded anyway. "Right..." she said. "But I mean why couldn't you live here? There's dorm rooms after all and stuff..." Her voice drifted off toward the end. She doubted a police officer would let a kid live here, but who knew?
"Someone who cannot pass the school doesn't deserve to live in it." He said looking down sttill hearing people looking for Catherine...
That was true. Catherine was about to reply when she heard the persistence of everyone looked for her. Sighing in frustration because of it, she looked down for a moment before looking up. "Should I tell them to shut up or leave it? They'll have to give up eventually."
"They aren't going to give up on someone like you." He said looking at her... "But its about time for me to get going." He said walking toward the stops of the roof to go out of the school now that finals were done.
"They aren't going to give up on someone like you."
Those words hit her deep. They hadn't had a bad meaning, exactly, but just the words themselves and what they really meant. She shook her head. "Whatever," she said softly. Why did they give up on him and not her? It didn't make sense!
"But its about time for me to get going."
She shook her head and to him. "If you're going, can I come too?" she asked. "Or will you at least come back inside with me?" She just didn't want him to be by himself.

He shook his head. "The doors are unlocked...im leaving." He said knowing she only meaant it in good intent...but he belived he did not deserve such a thing.
