How coincidental.

Catherine frowned when he shrugged, but didn't say anything. She turned to Soahc and smiled brightly, running at him and wrapping her arms around him. "Hi Soahc!!!" she said. She could be quite the bundle of energy, even when she was tired.

"You're living with us now!!" she exclaimed, letting go of him and twirling around in a circle.

Catherine blinked. That had been really mean!! She frowned, not wanting him to leave. "Don't go Soahc!!" she said. "Cordelia said you have to stay here!" For what reason she didn't know; all she knew was that she, for one, was going to listen to what Cordelia said.

Catherine quickly looked to Jira and was relieved when he did something. She smiled, then blinked what she saw the cigarette. She had seen people smoke them before, but... she didn't really know what it was, exactly.

So, she paid no mind, and looked at Soahc. "Don't worry, you'll have fun here! Jiwa's really nice!!" she smiled and nodded enthusiastically to enforce her point. "Alex is too! But she's not here right now..."

Catherine frowned and looked at Jira. "Don't scawe him," she said, deciding to take on Alexiel's roll while she was away. "And I'm going to bed. G'night."

She ignored what Soahc said, even though it had hurt her. She went into her bedroom and closed the door, climbing back into bed.

The next morning, a phone call at about six in the morning was what awoke Catherine. She rubbed at her blue-green eyes and pouted when she saw the alarm clock. It wasn't even time to go to school yet! Since it didn't stop ringing, she sighed in frustration and marched out of bed, picking up the phone. "Hello?"

Her eyes went wide when she heard the person on the other end. "JIWA!! Alex's at the hospital, get on the phone!!!" the seven-year-old exclaimed with worry, shaking. What could have happened to Alexiel?
