With her body being held close to him Loralei had expected the evening to go on peacefully and perfectly. She relinquished her teasing in favor of honesty, and her drawn out confession proved that so. Eagerly, she’d await his response to her. Not for a moment did she let go as him as…

Wait, huh?

He then proceeded to lay the genie upon the counter as he did something completely different from what she expected. She looked dumbfounded as he laid her upon the counter, beginning his answer back in the most peculiar of ways. It only took her a second to recognize that mischievous look on his face to know that he was about to pull back some revenge. Instead of taking her upstairs to begin their business, or completely dropping whatever they had on to begin with, she watched as Carl mocked his usual motions in order to work her up.

And damn if it wasn’t working.

Though his words were sweet and she truly cherished them, she couldn’t help but to be bewildered by these odd advances. She slid against the counter as he pressed into her, building up what she felt was impatience. The words were enough for now, but she couldn’t help but to feel out of it. She grasped his top as she grumbled a bit, before ultimately letting go for a few moments once he was finished. It took a second, but a sideways grin soon came to her face.

"How... Very sweet." She stated simply, stroking the side of his face as he played his little game. She really and truly did appreciate the words he spoke to her. But he was going to drive her crazy like this. She wanted it all and she wanted it now. "But that can't possibly be it though? Hm..?" She decided to play his little game of sorts. She then proceeded to sit up. Arms soon folded across her chest as she pouted a little bit, like a kid who hadn’t gotten their way. "More." The word came out simple, and a bit testing. She almost cracked a bit of a chuckle but no! She was going to play right back. "Unless… Y’know… You didn’t really want to celebrate this little occasion..." With that she slid off the counter, maneuvering past her fiance. With that her hands slid to hold the sides of her hips as she practically sashayed to stand in the middle of the room. She then looked over her shoulder, her eyes narrowing as she held a grin. "Is that the case then, Mr. Magus?"

Now she had him worked up. In this game of love there would be a back-and-forth lighthearted rebuttal to test each other’s care for one another. Loralei knew exactly what she was doing, though couldn’t even begin to read the mind of her future husband. It didn’t take a genius though to figure out that he had a plot. And boy, she could tell something was brewing in that mind of his. Though she stood with her back to him she knew that wouldn’t last very long. And here he came now, in a slow stride distinct enough to hear each of his footsteps.

A grin returned once more as he grasped her from behind, feeling his hands glide down her hips as he would fuffill her challenge. A quiet giggle came from her as he carried her over to the wall, just so she could be pressed against it as he whispered things into her ear. He still teased her as he replicated what he usually did, except under covers. Still, she almost became a bit greedy in wanting more from him. She couldn’t help it. She really had missed him in the course of the last month or so. But what almost satisfied her more were the words he laid upon her. How much he meant to her, and that he always wanted to be close… But… Loralei couldn’t help but to slightly question the line between his love for her and what was lust. But those were nasty thoughts that would seriously harsh her mellow if not kept in check. Besides, she liked all of this too. She took his free hand that held a solid grip to her backside and traced it up the contours of her body while he spoke of the things he’d do for her. She was worked up to the point that…

Oh dear.

His request had her stop for a split second. It was as if a challenge had been laid upon her. Now? Well, now she had an ultimatum. Get what she wanted or be left in the dust. And if she had been given this lofty request that took a bit of a toll on her pride she would have said no. But, fair was fair. He wanted her to beg for it? Well, she didn’t particularly want to. But she needed this after how long they’d been apart. Looks like she had to swallow her pride in order to get what she wanted.

"Really?" She looked back at him, chuckling as she shook her head. "Challenge accepted." With a split second manuver she soon had him pinned against the wall, his arms held slightly above his body as her hand pressed them so that he couldn’t escape. She then held herself right in front of his face, placing a long kiss on his lips before letting go.

"Kael'thias I want you to destroy me harder than you've done with those enemies of yours on the battlefield." She whispered dangerously low, though at the back of her voice it was ever so faint that she was about to crack up laughing. She couldn't believe she was doing this. But all in good fun, she kept telling herself. "Pretty please?"
Her voice then came out as a soft, almost eerily innocent whimper. She rested her forehead on his, before taking his lips again passionately. In between kisses she whispered "I... Really... Really... Want this... Carl.... I know you do... Too...". Her voice came out as almost a pathetic beg as she kept asking these things from him. Just as he wanted. As a part of this game. She used to do this sort of thing even before they came together as a couple. Anything for a challenge. Her hands lowered his from the wall to hover over her body once more. "C'mon.... For me? Caaaaarl?" She actually whimpered a bit, nuzzling into his chest. She stroked his chest before backing up a bit. The job was done.

"Howzzat?" She then asked, a grin again on her face. "I mean... I meant it."

She almost had to stifle a sigh of relief. It wasn't his thing. Neither was it hers. Still she had a bit of fun with it. "Couldn't agree more." Although honestly? A few of her past counterparts enjoyed that sort of thing. She liked it more when she could be gentle to her partner. Things were more passionate for her that way. And less likely for one of them to end up in the hospital. "But... Never hurts to try new things. Let me know if there's anything you wanna experiment with in the future. Unless, of course, it's fatal."

With that she laughed, heightened by him sweeping her off her feet. She looked up to his face with a sweet smile on her own. This hadn't happened before, and she could safely say she enjoyed it. Her legs tucked up as her arms draped over his shoulders. She watched the house move past her as he carried her up the stairs, her legs kicking gently as he spoke to her. She smirked. "Oh I know that. I've figured that out practically the first day I met you." It was true. He was the one who made advances. Who knew it would end up like this. "From day one I knew you wanted a piece of me. I'd be lying if I didn't feel the same way." And with that he entered the room, setting her down on the bed. She sat up on the sheets, beckoning her husband to come forth. Her smile turned into a grin, as she leaned up and guided him down. It was then she rolled him over, only to sit lightly on his stomach to stare down at him. Just like earlier. But this time, she wasn't going to leave on unfinished business.

"Of course." She said lightly, leaning down to kiss his forehead. "We don't need words to express ourselves here... Or, noises." She chuckled. Well, perhaps not the latter. "That's what love is about in a sense, huh?" To that she would run her hands down his face. Slowly, she'd begin working her lips onto him. "Now... Where were we?"

The next hours following blended together almost seamlessly as Loralei threw a bit of an official welcome home. Not for one moment did they break apart, nor did they seem to recognize what time was passing. The genie was just happy to have him home with her now fiancé, and this was the best way she could show she did. She giggled at his jests before they got to it, but other than that there weren't many words spoken. It went on like this until a little bit before dawn. But for now, it was still dark outside, as they ended their ritual and found themselves in the aftermath.

Her own chest was rising and falling rather rapidly as they lay together, her own body up against his as he wrapped his arms around her. She smiled as he kissed her on her forehead. "Good. Because that's the only place I am." She teased lightly, with a chuckle in her breathy voice. Her body was a little bit sore, but otherwise she felt rather vitalized. Carl on the other hand spoke of how he was being worked harder than his enemies in battle by his soon-to-be-wife. To this, Loralei was quite proud. At least this sort of exercise was for pleasure rather than survival. "I hope that's a good thing. I can be as gentle or as aggressive as you want me to be you know. You know I like variety." Loralei stated as she finally sat up a bit, running a hand through her messy hair as to futilely fix it up. From her position she looked down at the magus, nudging him playfully on his shoulder as she would joke around with him. "Although that may just be your age talking, mister. I'm surprised you can keep up with a spry young thing like me... Almost makes me forget you're older than Christ himself." Loralei laughed, before the hand on his shoulder began to rub it gently. "I'm kidding, of course. You're wonderful at this... And pretty much everything else." He really was in her eyes. Sure, he wasn't perfect. But he'd done what he had for her because he loved her. Or at least she assumed so. But at this point, did it matter?

Well...

"Carl?" She looked at him, her eyes a bit more solemn as she began to think about something troubling her mind a bit.
"I'm nervous." She muttered, now looking a bit away. The Eden they created together was subject to reality. And the reality broke its way through the genie's peace of mind and into a deeper thought. A sigh escaped her lips. "I mean... For this wedding. There's so much to do, and... Christ. I can't believe we're getting married." She paused, thinking over her words. "Not that I'm against the idea in the slightest. I'm.. Happy for it. But I guess I never thought of settling down. I don't even think a genie has before. Now look at us. We're both doing something that we hadn't envisioned ever for the future. Over five thousand years and you've chosen me. I... Wow." This thought eased her a bit. They were both going in blind for the future. Whatever would happen would run its course. She grinned. "This is gonna be really interesting. The real fun hasn't even begun yet."

As she allowed him to comfort her, Loralei relaxed a bit from her previous state of unrest. He was right though, there was no need to be nervous. It usually wasn't like her to be so worked up over anything, let alone a special title for the relationship they held. Still... Official things made Loralei a bit unnerved. He was her master, but masters came and left. He was her boyfriend, which meant they could take a break if things got rough. But with marriage... She didn't want anything to go wrong. Till death do them part, but since they were immortal... Forever really was a long time.

Still being in his arms was always a sort of blanket from the worries that came and went from her head. Carl understood, and didn't laugh at her for being nervous. This whole thing was to make the both of them happy, or even more so with the bond they held with each other. Practically inseparable, at this point. She made him happy, and that's what counted. "It's a big change, and yet nothing is changing at all." She muttered softly to him, before she looked up at him and smiled. "You're right, though. You make me happy, this whole marriage is supposed to do the same. So what do I have to worry about?" She asked rhetorically, before snuggling into his bare chest further as he held her.

She almost felt the urge to drift off under his warm embrace, had it not been for the question he presented to her. Now that was an interesting curiosity. "Just like any other marriage... With a bit more instances of what happened to that mansion earlier on." So it was safe to say not like any other marriage at all. She leaned in slightly to plant a soft kiss on his lips, before backing up with a chuckle. "I mean, I'm being married to the universe's best magus. Y'know... The same man who can hold someone so gently and still set things ablaze in a few words." She paused before shrugging. "But you're sweet. With me, anyway. We both have a lot to learn. From each other... Even the world. You may have seen your fair share but... Maybe you'll find something different about it. You'll learn something new, whether that be through good memories or disasters. Can't imagine there would ever be a dull day around here." She laughed a bit louder before continuing on. "And don't you forget that you have a genie sitting right next to you... I can do anything, be anything, be anyone... As long as I have your permission of course. Magic can only get stronger after all. So you better stay on my good side, mister." Now that was quite the challenging tone. But she was joking, of course. It still would be interesting to see how the two would grow and develop together, through thick and thin. "But I'll be my best for you. That much I know will happen." After all, she was the only one that could do this for him specifically. Whether or not Carl really needed her was a mystery, in her mind anyway. But he'd always have her, just in case.

Loralei scooted over closer to him, resting her head close to his chest and thus his pulse. The sound was soothing, even, and reminded her that he was right there with her, alive and well. She stifled a bit of a yawn, as the night's activities had worn out the energy from her body. "....Think of all the stories we could share... I like the ones you bring home with you... Now we can make our own." A sweet smile touched her face, as she closed her eyes lightly. "How does that sound?"
