He looked up at November. "I think it's off limit's because it could be dangerous because rocks could fall, and I heard a little about maybe dragon's living up there." He said. He thought dragon's were neat creatures, for you never know what secrets they hold, and because he thought it was cool how they breath fire and other thing's, he even read a book saying dragon's like music and tales, but he doesn't know if that is even real.

"My powers." He seemed a little shock at the question. "I see anyone's past, like what's happened in there life before, so I see history's that belong to anyone." He said a little uneasy, she would probably hate it how he could see her past at random times. "That's why I hate to be inside except the library, for when I read books my power's don't seem to work, maybe because I'm reading someone's history in a book."

"I don't think History books are that boring, I'm the only one in my family who loves them, I usually get them for Christmas and the such." He said, though his family has been died for only a month or so, but of course he has uncles and aunts and cousins.

"I think it's off limit's because it could be dangerous because rocks could fall, and I heard a little about maybe dragon's living up there."

The young woman smiled. Dragons? Those creatures were at DCA, too. Well, maybe some things would still be the same. But the mountains had never been off limits at Dark Crystal... it was odd that they were here. Maybe the Headmistress here was just a little bit too afraid for the students safety... at least, that was what it seemed to her. "Well... that's a little bit odd if you ask me..." she said. "The mountains where I came from had the same exact dangers, but weren't off limits. But, oh well."

"I see anyone's past, like what's happened in there life before, so I see history's that belong to anyone."

"Oh, cool!" November said. She didn't really hate the fact that he would probably be able to figure out her past in time; she actually found that quite interesting. "Yours sounds really interesting. I'm a fire elementalist."

"I don't think History books are that boring, I'm the only one in my family who loves them, I usually get them for Christmas and the such."

She smiled again. "That's cool. It's good to be unique," she said, referring to the fact that he had said he was the only one in his family who loved history books.

"Where do you come from?" He asked slightly curious to know. "I would love to meet a dragon, just one that wouldn't like to eat me." He said smiling a little. A surprise look flashed in his eyes but quickly vanished when November thought his powers were cool, and he thought it was strange, but her reaction seemed just like Trephas', it was strange but he merely shrugged and looked at November.

"Elementalist, I've never met anyone with the element of fire, though I don't really like fire that much, I don't know way, I'm just not the type who likes playing with fire. I don't really like my abilities, they bring much pain, because if there are too many people in one room or in the same building as me, I will get aching headaches, mostly because i can't control my powers."

He slightly tilted his head. "And are you unique in your family." He asked kindly, as wind blew at his face and he shivered a bit but to deal with the cold he just wrapped his cloak around himself.

"Where do you come from? .... I would love to meet a dragon, just one that wouldn't like to eat me."

November laughed at wanting to meet a dragon that wouldn't want to eat him. She regretted saying that where she had come from the mountains weren't off limits, though; she didn't want to mention DCA to him. But, it was too late now, and she supposed she should. "I came here from Dark Crystal Academy," she said. "After the attack, the students came here. Well, most of them anyway." She shrugged her shoulders, hoping that that would be a good enough answer. She didn't want to keep talking about it, but she would if he asked. The fact that she didn't want to keep talking about it didn't show on her face, though.

"Elementalist, I've never met anyone with the element of fire, though I don't really like fire that much, I don't know way, I'm just not the type who likes playing with fire....."

She smiled. "That's alright. I personally like fire... but, of course, I would since it's my power." She shook her head. "And I don't know if I've ever met anyone with powers such as yours. I'm pretty sure I haven't, though." She nodded in understanding when he said that he couldn't control his powers and sometimes he got headaches. "Sorry about that. I do think your power is interesting, though. And I'm sure you'll be able to control it one day."

"And are you unique in your family."

The blue-haired female thought for a few moments. "Well..." she began kind of slowly, still thinking. "From what I remember, not really. But it's boring to be the same as everyone else." She smiled somewhat.

Eben listened intently, as images slightly cleared in his head but not fully. "Were you afraid of the attack, or did you fear it, or was it just shocking?" He asked not really knowing why he had said that, he just seemed curious ever more as he talked to November. Maybe if she could tell me more about it, it could come up clearing in my head, he thought as his head started aching again.

"I think it would be nice if I can control it, but every time I see a past to much my head aches bad, just like I've seen my own history over a dozen times, I already know every detail basically, but it really hurts at times." He said flinching a little from pain that hurt his head as his worst part of his past zipped through his head, showing images.

As I walked towards home, I could feel in my chest that something was wrong. I looked around in the street and no one could be seen, but I could tell there were men and woman, staring out onto the street as if afraid to come out. I'm nearly home and everything is death-quiet, no dogs barking, not even a street cat running through an alley. I soon got to my family's house, but the door was open wide and was broken. I rushed in as fear clenched at me. When I got in the house everything was a wreck, chairs and tables were broken, and books and many other things were on the floor also. I ran through the house looking for my family who have disappeared...

After it was done going through his head he cursed under his breath and had a hand up to his head with very terrible pain was in his head.

"Were you afraid of the attack, or did you fear it, or was it just shocking?"

She didn't really care that he had asked about it, since it was her own fault for not saying or showing that she didn't want to talk about it. "I was afraid," she said. "And I did find it shocking. But I was one of the only ones that didn't just go and run away... I tried to fight it off, but... well... let's just say that since the academy was taken over, it didn't exactly work." She forced herself to smile. She didn't want to remember what had happened, that she had gotten captured and had to be rescued. She hated the fact that she had been rescued, but she couldn't go back and change it. She shook her head, trying to push the thoughts from her mind by concentrating on the conversation.

November noticed him flinch, and didn't respond to what he said for a few moments, just watching him. He seemed to be in pain, and she was guessing that he was having a very bad headache. However, she didn't know whether he was seeing her past, or someone else's. When he cursed under his breath, she was guessing the memory was over, but he still looked as if he were in pain. "Eben?" she asked, her voice kind of quiet. "Are you alright?"

He had heard November speak before the memory's came, and when she asked if he was alright he just shuddered and stared at the ground, his eyes an empty sad pit. I'm sick of this, I hate my past, but I can't make it leave me alone, he thought. "It was just a my old memory's, my powers decided to make me remember what happen two month's ago." He said plainly as his hand went to his boot and he grabbed as if feeling safer holding it for some reason.

"Though it is something I do not wish to talk about it is nothing I wish to remember." He said sort of rashly, in case she had asked a question even though he knew it was mean to act like this if she didn't ask the question, he just still didn't want to remember.

November kept a close eye on him, and grew more concerned when he shuddered, hoping he was alright. From the way he was acting, she was guessing that what had happened to him two months ago was not something good. She decided to leave the subject alone, not wanting to further remind him of it. She was glad she didn't, especially when he said it was something he didn't want to talk about.

Well, she decided that it was time to change the subject. "So, Eben," she began, "have you met anyone else here?" She wasn't sure if her mentioning more people would help or hurt him... but... oh well.

"Have I met anyone else..." He whispered thinking awhile. "Yes, only one though, a girl named Enelya, and then of course you, other then that... No one else." He said his voice returning to its normal tone and his eyes turning dull again. "I don't like to talk often to people, I try to avoid most, not wanting their memory's." He said, glad that he isn't getting to many memory's from November, but angry that he has to always it seems to watch his own.

He pulled out his dagger from his boot and stabbed it into the ground and when he pulled it out leaves were stuck to it, but he pulled the leaves off and stabbed the ground again. "Have you met anyone else here besides me?" He asked, though he would be able to tell by using his powers to look into her past, but he tryed not to.

November slowly nodded her head. She could understand why he hadn't met many people; he probably tried not to do so. But she didn't blame him for that, since it seemed a lot of people here didn't have the best pasts, and like he had said, he got headaches if there were too many people around at the same time. She watched him for a few moments as he played around with his dagger, then realized he had asked her a question.

"Actually, no, I haven't," she said. "You're the only person from this academy I've met... but then again, I haven't really been around this place yet and I haven't been here for too long; that's probably why." She wanted to say something else, ask him something, but nothing was coming to mind. So, she just went silent.
